The best was when the 22-year-old Gossip Girl actress spoofed Tiger Woods‘ wife, Swedish model Elin Nordegren. The opening monologue was pretty good too with Andy Samberg as the Swedish Chef and Kristen Wiig was Beaker. Mee-mee-mee-mee-mee!

and her performance at snl wasnt tooo funny, but its nice to see her there :D
i will say that blake did a good job considering the material…the whole episode just wasn’t good. but at least she was dull and boring like january jones.
but jared i’d say that the tiger woods skit was the worse. it wasn’t funny and it was offensive. domestic abuse isn’t funny when a man hits a woman OR when a woman hits a man. they could’ve done a skit with tiger being confronted by all the women in his life, but they went another route.
i thought that skit was especially off-putting considering rihanna was the musical guest.

She did OK, nothing memorable, she didn’t suck but she she didn’t blow anyone away with her performance last night either. I’m glad she didn’t come all out boobs and legs in all the skits, because everyone knows the reason she is popular is because of her body not because she is a good actress with range. She atleast got to show some range without being all tits and ass. It’s interesting that she was never the lead in any of the skits she really was just a supporting player, the SNL cast carried the show for her, when bigger more talented stars host, they are front and center and are the main focus of all the skits, I guess they learned their lesson from January Jones hosting, less of an umfamiliar host is best and the safer route to go.
I LOVE Blake. I thought she did great. I loved how her voice completely changed in sketches.
LOL @ shy Ronnie..lol Also, he was miles better than January Jones, Megan Fox etc this year. I think Blake acts just fine. If she had been the lead in every sketch she’d be called a DIVA so she was part of sketches and now THAT is used against her. Anyone esle would be called a team player. *shakes head* She can’t win. No, she is not Meryl Streep but neither is anyone on the CW or most of young Hollywood.

wow that was so terrible nothing funny at all i even thought taylor swift’s was funnier than this. not one skit was funny maybe andy samberg and rihanna that was it. the rest was bad sorry blake you weren’t funny.
Hey lol 2:39, you sound like a big Blake Lively fan, judging from the defensive tone of your post, but if you look at all the sketches they really gave her little to do, she hardly had any lines, in one skit she was visible for literally three seconds. It has nothing to do with being a diva versus a team player, the SNL cast knew they were dealing with an unfamiliar host and decided to play safe, trust me if the host was Cameron Diaz or Drew Barrymore, they would have been responsible for a lot more than just standing there and reciting a few lines. No one is waking up today suddenly saying that Blake Lively is a STAR, she is a starlet at best, but one with a smokin body, she can atleast be happy about that.
Jane- nope not a STAN of anyone from the current young Hollywood (Blake seems personable though). I just laugh when anyone mentions range and young Hollywood personally. Had this been Amy Adams or Emily Blunt then maybe but I think she did good from someone from the CW. She was better than Megan, January and even Taylor. I would of thought she would of been far worse.

I thought her best skits were with the one that featured Kenan they were actually funny! but I aint even gonna front the girl has a great body but it suks for her that was what some of the skits focused on.
She aint Kate Winslet, that’s for sure. Her Swedish accent was German. Bad German.

I thought she was good. I like her – she is cute also. The writing on SNL has gone way down though. I think a lot of the people in the cast are extremely talented and it is sad to watch them struggling to make the low quality skits funny. My fave skit was the last one with Keenan.
