OlderMavis Spencer is Miss Golden Globe 2010
Mavis Spencer is pretty in pink at the Golden Globes Party Saluting Young Hollywood at Nobu Los Angeles on Tuesday (December 8).
The 18-year-old daughter of Alfre Woodard and writer/producer Roderick Spencer will assist in the Golden Globes ceremony on Sunday, January 17.
Traditionally, Miss Golden Globe is the daughter of a celeb – Rumer Willis, Laura Dern and Melanie Griffith have all had the honor of serving at the Golden Globes.
“It means a lot to me as a young person to be a part of something with such a rich history,” Mavis said in a press release. “I know how my mom feels when she brings home a statue. And to hand someone a token of their accomplishments when they’re elated will just be really cool.”
Mavis is a model and a soon-to-be Columbia student.

I remember when Alfre gave birth to her years ago. I think she is biological. And she looks like her parents. But either way, I guess that is their daughter 100% anyway.

no, she is not the first Miss Golden Globe of color, actor Tim Reid’s daughter Tori Reid was chosen in 1999… anyway, Mavis is absolutely beautiful, just like her mother
