Check out the newest promo poster for Iron Man 2 – this one features Mickey Rourke as Whiplash!
Ivan Vanko, better known as Whiplash, is a Russian criminal who will go up against Tony Stark in the film.
Robert Downey, Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow will be back as Tony Stark/Iron Man and Pepper Potts, respectively, and Scarlett Johansson will appear as Black Widow alongside Mickey.
Iron Man 2 hits theaters May 7, 2010!

what’s Iron Man 2 about? Drycleaners?
kind of looks like Brian Austin Green’s Metallo in smallville , still I look foward to this movie. First ( I think ).

What a joke. Mickey Rourke can barely walk a straight line and now I’m supposed to take him seriously as an actor becuase he made one movie no one but movie critics watched? Pfffft.

This movie will rule 2010. The first was phenomenal, and everything that has been said about the second is positive. Can’t wait for the trailer on Christmas!!

@Halli: You obviously haven’t seen any earlier Rourke movies! I’ve seen a couple of interviews with him from Letterman & Ferguson, and he has a great sense of humor, and didn’t seem “under the influence” at all. You must be under 30 or something not to know that he had a career looonggg time ago, and was a respected actor.
