OlderStep Up 3-D -- Exclusive Movie Stills!!!
Check out these first and exclusive new stills from the much-anticipated dance flick, Step Up 3-D.
The pics feature the two romantic leads, Rick Malambri and Sharni Vinson and a group shot of one of the dance battles in the rain (including dancer Ashlee Nino, who’s currently touring with Miley Cyrus).
Director Jon Chu is back (he helmed Step Up 2: The Streets) as well as Adam Shankman, who produced the entire Step Up franchise. Also next year, Adam is producing the Oscars and Miley‘s new movie, The Last Song.
Step Up 3-D is set for a summer release — August 6, 2010!

No way that 3-D can beat 2 the streets! Step Up was good, 2 the street was awesome. This one is probably gonna crash and burn.

So copied stills from Step Up 1 (pics 3 & 6) & 2 and made it Step Up 3-D ok.
He looks fine (I see going more for the Channing look than Robert ok so far) but not sure about her. She used to be great in Home & Away though. Must wait and see the trailer to judge better and watch the movie.
Let’s give this a chance and see. However, in my head the original will always be the best, sorry it always goes back to them especially since now married – how cool/sweet.

@ Jess without Step Up or 1 there wouldn’t be Step Up 2: The Streets so in short Step Up is so much better than Step Up 2.
However, Step 3-D has a lot to prove especially since Step Up 2 was really good but not as great as the original hence it kicked off a franchise not Step Up 2 but Step Up or 1.
Another way of judging this is Channing Tatum has a career i.e. Dear John etc and I’m still waiting for Robert Hoffman. I like Robert a lot but what’s he doing, come on man???? Plus when you think of Step Up franchise you think of Channing Tatum and his wife not Robert Hoffman etc.
Anyway, let’s focus on Step Up 3-D better be good.

OMG…ok, I know…a 3rd installment?!? But DAMN is he HOTT!! lol He looks pale compared to her, should have played Edward Cullen (Rob Pattinson who?), but I’d go see this movie just because of him. Also, considering what Jon Chu did for the 2nd movie, I’m sure this one is going to be HUGE! Can’t Wait!
I think it’ll be great! not like the first <3 or the second one of course, but the 3-D is making it even better!
i love sharni vinson! i can’t believe she got this role! but it’s going to be so wierd watching her do her american accent because she got a really thick aussie one! but i can not wait to see this movie! jon chu’s been promoting it since the begining of this year and damn its a long wait to august!

OMG! He is SOOOO HOT! Cant wait to see his moves in the new Step Up 3D! I think it will be better than the first two.
My bf and I went to both Step Up and Step Up 2 the night they came out and I’m excited for 3-D but this isn’t exactly original. The most memorable and talked about scene (in 2) after the movie was over was the rain scene and they’re doing it all over again. I’m still going to see it but I’m just saying, there are tons of other ideas they could have used rather than recycling an old one.

every time i look at sharni vinson, i think about her as cassie on home and away. i really didn’t know she could dance. it’s going to be hard seeing her as anything else. haha
&this movie seems to be a copy of step up 2. even has a lot of the same characters, and a dance in the rain. but i guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Ohhhhh come on, nothing is going to beat The Streets. & that Sharni Vinson chick isn’t very good for that kind of role, she played a frickin’ pregnant teen on Home And Away(Aussie).
