OlderLeona Lewis: Avatar Scores $73 Million
Leona Lewis is all smiles as she texts away on her BlackBerry at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Saturday (December 19).
The 24-year-old British singing sensation recorded the theme song “I See You” for Avatar, directed by James Cameron. The sci-fi flick raked in $220+ million in its worldwide debut this weekend, including a strong $73 million nationwide. Unfortunately, because of Mother Nature, the box office on the East Coast hasn’t been very strong in general.
