Eva Longoria Fragrance To Hit Shelves April 2010

Eva Longoria has a new fragrance coming out April 2010 called Eva by Eva Longoria.

“I never knew how complicated it was to create a unique scent that hasn’t already been done,” the 34-year-old Desperate Housewives actress told WWD. “But I enjoyed the process. [I wanted] to create my own fragrance that is light, fresh and unique. I think the scent of a woman is extremely sexy and this scent will prove that.”

Eva by Eva Longoria features top notes of citrus, neroli, bergamot tea and aldehydes. The heart notes include sheer jasmine, muguet, violet and freesia, and the scenes features base notes of skin musk, amber and sandalwood.

If it has a great scent, why not. I don’t care if a fragrance is a celeb one or not, what matters is if it’s a good fragrance and some celeb ones are really good.

Big fan of Eva Longoria as is my mom and we both watch Desperate Housewives but what’s up with the super airbrushing? Eva’s head doesn’t even look like it fits on the rest of her body.

If the scent of a woman is so refreshing, then why try to cover it up???

    AutumnM Says:

Probably not. A bit tired of all these celbrities and their fragrances.

The only celebrity fragrance I’ve bought is Britney Spears’ “Curious” and “Fantasy”. Both are suprisingly good, I will continue to buy her fragrances, but the rest, I doubt it. It would have to smell really good for me to consider.

Oh please spare us. Not interested. I am turned off by celebrity fragrances. I would never buy them.

If anyone is conceited enough to think someone wants to buy a fragrance with her name on it, is Eva Longoria.

Listen, I’m a fragrance junkie and completely agree. The whole celebrity fragrance thing has gotten out of control and I think many of them are not that good and don’t smell any different than other fragrances already available. However, I did smell a sample of Eva’s fragrance and it is different and really nice. The only thing I can’t stand is that it bears her name, but I wouldn’t let that stop me from wearing it. Besides, you know what aggravates me more? All these perfume houses that come out with a hit fragrance and then try to capitalize on it by coming out with various versions of the same fragrance and just change the name, for instance “light”, “summer”, “fresh”, etc. As a matter of fact, I think there are about 7 different versons of Angel now. UUGGHHH!!!
