OlderMariah Carey Gives to Neglected Kids
Mariah Carey stops by the Gucci store with husband Nick Cannon on a snowy night while on vacation in Aspen, Colorado on Wednesday (December 23).
It looks like it was so cold that Nick started tearing up!
Earlier in the week, Mariah, 39, showed her giving spirit by throwing a grand party for 35 neglected kids.
Mariah made arrangements to rent out the city-owned Aspen Recreation Center Monday afternoon. She invited 35 kids, under the care of the local child protection services department, for a party complete with magicians, entertainers, and storytellers.
This isn’t the first time the songstress has thrown a party for less fortunate kids in Aspen. According to the Aspen Times, some locals claim Mariah has been doing this for over 10 years.

I wish Mariah would do something else. When female singers hit 40 it is mostly downhill for them unless they have a huge Gay fanbase with Madonna. I like MIMI but she looks ridiculous dressing like a teenager. She should put on a massive show in Las Vegas or something.

I will give Mariah credit for doing something for the kids. I think it’s nice she does something and I think she supports a camp too. And I did think Nick C’s volunteer think was good. However I guess JJ might want to expand on the poor people in Aspen explanation. I too thought it was some little ski resort town where celebs hang out, not actually large enough for a foster care type system.

Also does she actually know how to ski? We always see her dressed up and shopping in Aspen is that all she does there (in addition to helping the poor).
