OlderDita Von Teese: Majority Of My Fans Are Women
Dita Von Teese signs autographs for fans after having a late night steak dinner with french aristocrat Count Louis Marie de Castelbajac in Los Angeles on Tuesday (December 29).
The 37-year-old, who has been promoting her new book ‘Stripteese’, noticed that her fan base has changed over the years.
“When I first started doing what I do, a lot of my fans were men,” Dita told Fox News. “It is interesting the way it has shifted and the majority of my fans are women now. Probably 80 percent, but I can see why. I started thinking about that more over past several years why that is and I think a lot of women like to see another kind of sex symbol that doesn’t fit into the blonde, tanned, California beach babe beauty.”

Women are SO wrong about beauty. I do NOT think blond+tan+white+slender=beautiful. Dita is unique, interesting and herself. That’s what real beauty is – lingering in the mind.
