Michael Cera is back with another hilariously awkward comedy called Youth In Revolt.
While his trailer trash parents teeter on the edge of divorce, cynical sex-obsessed Nick Twisp (Cera) sets his sights on dream girl Sheeni Saunders (Portia Doubleday), hoping that she’ll be the one to take away his virginity.

Not a great description of the movie, seeing as its more about how he creates this alter ego that takes over his life.

He is so unattractive. The double standard for men and women is obvious in his case.
I saw it a few weeks ago and I didn’t think it was that great of a movie. It relied heavily on Micheal’s awkward humor, which I didn’t find funny.
There was also a Q&A with Micheal after the preview, and he is weird in real life. He seemed really arrogant, and was almost mean to the people asking questions. Calling peoples questions stupid and such, and refusing to answer many.
The weirdest part was when someone asked him something to the effect of “Why do you refuse to take DNA testing to prove your fatherhood to your baby, and why do you refuse to pay child support.” To which he got very angry and didn’t want to answer any more questions. The audience was shocked.
I really don’t get Michael Cera.
i honestly don’t get what everyone sees in him…i only like him in Juno?

Michael Cera plays the same character in every freaking movie he does. Its getting annoying.
He can only play the same roles for so long. Soon he’ll be a nobody starring in super-indie films that no one will ever see.
