Jake Gyllenhaal sports a backpack as he heads out of Los Angeles’ LAX airport with a police escort on Sunday (January 3).
The 29-year-old actor’s parents officially split on Christmas Eve, TMZ reports.
Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Foner, who were married for 32 years, agreed upon a settlement splitting their assets at the end of December.
Thankfully, though, because Jake and his sister Maggie are both over the age of 18, there won’t be any custody or child support issues to deal with.

I am easily amused by these posts- always entertaining. Only J & R know what the truth is.
The fact that she is a single mother who allows J in her life and her children’s lives & home should be a fairly good indication that there was a real relationship.
If it was a sham she will be toast with the American public for intro her kids into a cheap faux romance. What a way to waste 2 years of one’s life!
