Guest judge Victoria Beckham told People she tried to find the best in everyone who auditioned.
“I believe in constructive criticism and I am a very positive person, so I always tried to find something good and helpful to focus on, be it someone’s singing, their looks or their overall style,” Vic said. “Having been a performer, I know how difficult it is to be that person standing there being judged. I didn’t want to trample on people’s dreams.”
American Idol starts up again this Tuesday (January 12) at 8/7c!

I will watch this for Victoria alone, she is such a darling, and she looks stunning there. As for her being a guest judge, get over it haterz, she has been in the most successful girl group of all time, and before she has been through million of auditions like this, so she is PERFECT to judge!

Victoria judging singers? It infuriates me…just like that dumbell Cheryl Cole (X Facotr) having the nerve to call on someone for being “pitchy”.
Kristin Chenoweth is amazing, I’m so excited to see her guest judge.
I wonder what if Courtney Love could’ve been a guest judge, that would’ve been interesting to see.
the only ones out of these guest judges that can judge talent is mary j blige, shania twain and kristin chenoweth. the rest have ZERO talent.

Victoria is really sweet! Loved what she said! And the best thing about AI is Simon Cowell – hands down. You just never know what he’s bound to say or do next! Oh boy can’t wait!!
Hopefully this will be the last year for this show. It has gotten old real fast.

She looks beautiful in that shot, but lol at all the publicity she is getting AI, when in fact she is only in two episodes for 10 minutes each. LOL goes to show she was worth the money, and right choice. But i am glad that she didnt take the full time judge position even though she was offered. Goes to show how smart she is, now that her brand is doing great it would be a dumb move.
Anyway cant wait to see her on.
