OlderJennifer Connelly & Paul Bettany: Creation Couple
Jennifer Connelly and husband Paul Bettany take their sons — Kai, 12, and Stellan, 6 — to school in New York City’s West Village on Monday morning (January 11).
Paul, who plays Charles Darwin in the new movie Creation, recently proclaimed himself an atheist to NYMag. “I wish I did have faith,” the 38-year-old British shared. “I think it would make life so much easier. I just have not discovered God in my life. I mean, I don’t see him. It’s not that I’m closed off to the argument, but I do feel the burden of proof.”

God is not outside of you. God is within you. When you are loving and forgiving in your relationships you are one with God. God is life. God is truth about life. Although your outer form dies, God within lives on. Life in its various forms is how God experiences life.
i’ve experienced death very close to me and instead of it bringing me closer to God, it made me rethink the basis of religion. I think everyone should see this movie.

Aw! Good to see them, Kai looks so big! And for “Weird”, his father is David Dugan, a photographer she met on a rock climbing expedition. This was shortly after Jennifer and actor Billy Crudup had a fling during filming of Inventing the Abbotts, and Crudup then went on to date Mary Louise Parker. Jennifer got pregnant with Kai pretty quickly but her and David’s relationship didn’t last. He still keeps in close contact with his son, according to Jennifer.

Nobody can “see” God. It’s called faith for a reason, you either have faith that something greater exists beyond this life or you don’t. It can’t be proved or disproved. I believe there is a God, I choose to have faith. I may be wrong to believe or I may be right, but it can’t hurt to believe.
