OlderChanning Tatum Burns His Penis, Covers 'Details' February 2010
Channing Tatum dons D&G shirts as February 2010′s cover boy for Details Magazine, on stands January 19. Here’s what the 29-year-old actor shared:
On staying warm in the Scottish Highlands while shooting The Eagle of the Ninth as a soldier: “The only way to keep warm was by pouring a mix of boiling water and river water down your suit. We were finally done shooting for the day, and one of the crew guys asks if I want to warm up before I go. I’m like, Nah, I’m good. And then I thought, Why not? Thing is, he’d forgotten to dilute the kettle water. So he poured scalding water down my suit. And I was trying to pull the suit away from my body to somehow get away from the boiling water, and the more I pulled the suit away, the lower the water went. It just went straight down and pretty much burned the skin off the head of my d—.”
On his burnt penis:: “It was the most painful thing I have ever experienced in my life…I’ve been to the hospital, gotten stitches, had broken fingers and toes. But this was a suffocating kind of pain…Now my penis is fantastic! One hundred percent recovered. Put me back in the game, Coach.”
On depression: “The longer I took Dexedrine, the worse I felt. It sucked all the personality from me. I’d get depressed. I would think suicidal – I was never personally suicidal, but I could see how some kids were, how they’d be, like, I can’t take this anymore.”

I’ve met him before, and not only is he unbelievably gorgeous, but he is definitely one of the sweetest people in the world. He is so kind!
I remember when this burn story first came out…..there were reports that Channing had been scalded with water on the set of his movie thanks to one of the workers….but I had no idea it had been that bad and that the water scalded that particular body part. It must’ve hurt like helll but I’m glad he’s recovered.
I can’t wait to see his future projects!!

The reason why I love Channing Tatum is because he comes across so honest in his interviews. Maybe too honest in this particular interview but nevertheless his pretty cool dude for admitting all.
