James McAvoy: Squash The Hobbit Rumor!
James McAvoy attends the premiere of his new movie The Last Station at the Paris Theater in New York City on Monday (January 11).
The 30-year-old actor was joined by his costars Paul Giamatti, Christopher Plummer, Kerry Condon, and director Michael Hoffman. The film is a historical drama about Russian author Leo Tolstoy and his struggle with his rise to fame.
James recently addressed rumors that he’ll be playing Bilbo Baggins in the much anticipated The Hobbit.
“I can squash the Hobbit rumor right off the get-go,” James told Collider. “It’s squashed, I promise you.”
In addition, James also cleared the air and confirmed that he will not be in the Ian Fleming biopic either.
“Again, it’s all a rumor. I’ve read the script — I read it a long time ago, though, and I never even spoke to the producers. I don’t know where it’s come from.” 10+ pictures inside…
