Julianne Moore brights up the red carpet in Lanvin alongside Tom Ford at the 2010 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Friday (January 15) in Hollywood, Calif.
The 34-year-old French actress is up for Best Supporting Actress for her work in A Single Man (directed, produced and written by Tom Ford). She’s up against Marion Cotillard (Nine), Mo’Nique (Precious), Samantha Morton (The Messenger), Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrick (both from Up In The Air).

Love her acting, but that dress is totally wrong for her in color and style. Too frilly, hugs her in the wrong places, and the color clashes with her complexion.

As already posted, she was born in North Carolina in December 1960, so presumably is still American!
