I think it’s DISGUSTING that these gifting suites exist. Given all the people out of jobs, losign their homes, is THIS type of activity the best way for a company to spend their money? I get they want to hype their brands, but why not give the money to a real good cause instead. These celebs should be embarrassed to stand there with some bottle of junk hair shampoo or some stupid ring. A REAL celeb (Sean Penn, Sandra Bullock) would NEVER be caught dead in such an element.

Hollyweird: The reason that these companies don’t follow your advice is because giving money or their product to “the needy” isn’t going to garner any publicity with the marketshare that their product is actually geared to. AKA it would be a WASTE.

How can people go about their phony business in Hollywood, such as attending these gifting suites, after what’s happened in Haiti??!! Don’t they feel the least bit of guilt worrying about what color free sweater they should choose when there are people lying out in the middle of the street, clothes ripped from their bodies?! So many appear to care in the least. Celebrities are so overpaid. Don’t they feel guilty about that???? God bless those who are trying to help in some way.

Why should they feel guilty about Haiti? They didn’t cause it. You bleeding hearts are quite entertaining. I say good for the celebrities who get this treatment.

@Shane– Couldn’t have said it better myself.

@Jazzmania– There is also a Global energy and warming crisis, yet you’re on your computer, adding to it. There are a lot of things we all as humans “should be doing” and yet don’t.

Aside from making a donation to help the relief, what is Ryan or other celebs supposed to be doing, boasting the world’s suffering on top their shoulders? They aren’t political figures– they get paid to pretend to be someone else, or to sing.

@sarah: haha.
.
I told a male colleague about this show. When he saw Ryan’s character having sex with a woman chained from the ceiling, he said that he has to take his laptop into the walk-in closet to watch because he doesn’t want his wife to see him watching this “soft-core porn.”

@CanadaGirl:

Haha! That’s FANTASTIC!!! Season 1 of Tru Blood was about how many times they could show Ryan in various states of undress & in strange sexual positions. Season 2 was AMAZING. Read the Sookie Stackhouse series and you’ll get a better appreciation of the show.

Gay flannel. Very interesting!

BRAVO!!!! BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!!!

I’m always impressed with actors that are so convincing outside their natural dialect. And that look so good with their shirts off.
I love Ryan Kwanten…He is the reason I watch True Blood and I’m sure that he’s smarter than the character he plays=)
