The 38-year-old Dexter actor, who wore John Varvatos, spoke candidly about his battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in the press room.
“It’s a matter of personal health,” Michael said (via USA Today). “I had every intention of keeping it quiet.”
Michael, who said he was doing fine, joked with the press, saying, “It’s nice to have a justifiable excuse for accessorizing.”

I was jumping up and down when they announced his name. Michael is absolutely amazing. Dexter s the singular show on television that manages to keep me on the edge. This guy has a gift, and hopefully he gets to stick around long enough to share it furthermore. It was said that he has recovered completely, I am glad…
