LOVED her on Lopez tonight..so funny

It woul’d've been even better if before she chatted online, answered phones, and tweeted to help raise funds she had announced that she will be donating generously herself. I usually do not agree with people advertising their good deeds but still is good to see entertainers, sports stars and other overpaid celebrities to make big donations. It’s not like one million would make a dent in her budget, whe plunked down 5 millions of her own money to make El Cantante. Maybe she already made a donation but a one million donation would’ve been nice.

Looking good at 40! JL, is always looking great.

  • rocky

I’m not knocking her pitching in, but she can easily send a mil over to help with Haiti fund. Sandra Bullock was one of the very first — as she was with Katrina — to send one mil toward Haiti relief. I guess keeping her husband in button down shirts is more important.

Many Americans are still out of work and have lost their homes. NO MILLIONIARE CELEBRITY SHOULD ASK ORDINARY AMERICANS TO GIVE UNTIL THEY REVEAL WHAT THEY HAVE GIVEN.

They are asking people who have lost their ONE home to give, while they have 4 or 5 MANSIONS.

How much have THEY given? Sitting in front of a camera or answering a phone is NOT ENOUGH. In fact, it is SHAMEFUL if that is ALL they are doing. SHOW PROOF THAT YOU HAVE OPENED YOUR MULTIMILLION DOLLAR WALLET BEFORE YOU ASK THE WORKING CLASS AND POOR OF AMERICA TO GIVE.

Text/Twitter/Email Clooney a nd the stations to ensure that EVERY CELEB WHO APPEARS ON THE HAITI TELETHON must first show they have donated a MINIMUIM OF $250,000 before they are permitted to ask struggling WORKING CLASS and POOR Americans who have lost so much in their own lives to give.

  • Danii

    This reeks of self aggrandizement.

  • Pat

Pretty face and outfit, it’s nice to see people helping Haiti.

  • kiki

answering phone, tweetering,,chatting, raising funds or organizing telethon doesn’t mean they donated their own thousands or millions in their celebrity bank. I wish all celebrity, rich people and politicians donate some because they are making huge money, more so than asking middle class or minimum wage people to donate. I will see their sincerity ,if they do that first, rather than doing this telethon or fundraising, whatever you call it. They will earn my respect, just like the joliepits, bullock, oprah, tiger and those who i can’t remember the name but have donated and not only using their faces to flag donations from less income folks.

  • kiki

i don’t consider it totally helping haiti, i guess they donated their services to beg low income folks for money to give to hatians instead of plucking it from their oversize pockets.

  • kiki

jlo’s diamond will do, i think she get lots of freebies anyway.

Please explain how sitting in front of a camera for an hour and asking people who have FAR LESS THAN YOU to “give” is “helping” Haiti.

Not everyone in the USA has lost their jobs. Some of you crazies don’t speck for all Americans. I myself…. am struggling with paying my bills after two pay cuts and reduced hours. These celebrities are asking people who can afford to give. I am not offend by this. Only people who are complaining are people who don’t care about human life and suffering. Well guess what? You people don’t have to give anything, not a dime, not one single penny. And if you are so worried about your fellow Americans….. make sure you Donate to the United Way, Good Will, and your local Food Banks. I’m sure these Celebrities you dislike so much for their wealth already have. If only for the Tax Break they get. The USA is suppose to be the greatest country in the world. How would we look if we just did nothing to help Haiti. Seat back and watch people die and suffer in our own backyard. Nice….

    She looks beautiful!

  • AutumnM

She does look beautiful and I do think it’s great that she’s at least out there showing an interest in Haiti and trying to get others to help out.

  • Whoever

She looks great in the thumbnails…. In the pic where she is waving…. the close up is scary!!! She look a little masculine in her face! She is aging horribly or too much work done!

J-Ho is not capable of helping anyone but herself. This is nothing more than a PR move for her, there is nothing even remotely generous nor genuine about this cheap ass hood rat. I’m so glad she is no longer relevant like they used to make her out to be. Go away and take care of those children who have a coke head for a father and an opportunist, attention whore for a mother.

  • Sarah

I agree #18 and most of those celebs on Larry King were ALREADY doing charity work for the Red Cross/UNICEF even BEFORE the Haiti tradgedy, and they were there representing their charities.
Even Nicole Ritchie has been actively involved in programs to help those countries get clean drinking water which she talked about, but J-Low couldn’t name ONE charity she was involved in. She was out of place there, and its obvious she pulled some strings to get on that show to get publicity for herself.

It’s no worse than her using sick, cancer-stricken children at Children’s Hospital when she had a movie coming out.
Nicole Ritchie was actively trying to promote clean water J-Low pops in I saw Larry interview her and she was sporting her rock diamond earrings

  • Ivy

She is 40 and looks good!

  • lexy

@ Kitty – I’m not sure I’m offended as much as I’m sicking of them asking us regular Joe’s for money. If you had the money to give you’d give – it wouldn’t matter if Jennifer Lopez or George Clooney asked you would it? You’d give b/c you wanted to and/or could afford to – whether or not a celebrity asked.
    -
Sadly I think there are people here in the US who aren’t getting the medical care they need and who are going without the basic necessities – yet suddenly all these celebs are on board with Haiti. There are plenty of people who are still suffering b/c of Katrina and 9/11 and they are forgotten so the celebs can score a few brownie points by showing they actually watched the news! Why not host a benefit for them??

Instead of answering phones, they should get busy writing checks and not stop adding zeros until it hurts.
