OlderAlexa Chung Teams Up With Madewell
Model Alexa Chung will create a fall collection for Madewell, part of the J. Crew group.
The 26-year-old former host of It’s On with Alexa Chung will put her own spin on polka-dot tea dresses, high-waisted skinny jeans and t-shirts with her own photographs and illustrations, WWD reports.
“I was being offered so many collaborations for a long time, but I held off. I thought it would be quite a ‘sellout’ thing to do,” Alexa said, “but Madewell had a more organic approach. They seemed really interested in my ideas and it’s a brand that I really admire.”
FYI: Sarah Jessica Parker is also lending her fashion know-how to a line – she’s joining Halston as their president and chief creative officer!
