    That is nice,
she should give that measely nothing chump change of 2million dollars ot Amer. Vets Hospitals that she took as pay from Lybia’s Gaddaffi’s son which is Gaddaffi which is Lybia to perform for a private NYE show in St. Barts .

I like Beyonce. Her father manager was WRONG here.

    She needs to smarten up.

A celeb can overide their manager/pr team, even if it is all your father’s company.

  • Just Stop

Now i will watch the Telethon!!! An actual singer has been recruited!!!

  • michaela

How much is she donating from her fortune? That’s what I want to know.

  • Just Stop

    Donate to Haiti!!!

  • Burishe

yeah, these celebrities want promotion, just like Rihanna, she went on Oprah to sing for Haiti, but no donation there,Beyonce,c`mon, she’s so rich, she could donate at least 1 milion,Sandra did,and she’s not even close to Beyonce in the money area, everyone should donate as much as they can,I did.

Are all these celebrities doing it for freee??? Or is this coming out
of the Haiti fund..and paying for the studio etc….include that in too..
Well this time it is a singer telethon.. instead of a movie star event..
Who cares about these singers.. go ahead George get as many singers as you can and when they bill you for their services.. tell
the public where the money really went too..!!

  • rhonda

she should give that money she got from that terrorist she performed for over New Years Eve. I don’t know why these liberal and black entertainers are so facinated with dictators and terrorist but they sure to like them.

  • I hope not

Are they getting an appearance fee?? Are they getting their usual perks in the dressing room? I hope not.

  • nursedatingsite

    She is so pretty!

  • mickey

The celebrities are not getting paid for this. Although, they should all be required to donate money in order to appear on the telethon. Otherwise, it is obnoxious and condescending to have rich people ask people who are struggling to make ends meet give money when the celebs give nothing and get all the praise.

  • michaela

Take it from your pocket Jay Z & Beyonce & Rihanna. This doesn’t make you look too good.

  • happy girl

I heard Beyonce’s mom is of Haitian and Creole descent. The French connection I guess. Good for her.

  • Mileena

About time….. I want to know how much of her fortune she’s donating too…

  • shoes4life

Beyonce and JZ made over $168 million together last year. They are the highest paid couple in entertainment.

I hope they both will donate at least $2 million a piece to the cause and not just show up to sing a song to get the working class to pay up.

Actually, it should be announced as to what amount each celebrity has donated before they can even ask the viewing public for a dime. People are now very critical about the rich asking the middle class and poor to give when they themselves have not actually giving anything of substance.

  • marie

@shoes4life: i agree with you completely
it is unfair for the rich to act the middle class and the poor fopr money when we have no idea how much each one of them actually donated
the thing with beyonce is that she makes about 80 million EVERY YEAR for the past few years, so someone like her can easily give up 5 million

  • LadyJ

She should have donated from the beginning..The chick is Haitain herself through birth…I guess better late than never

  • lexy

Didn’t Clooney learn his lesson when he had all those problems after his 9/11 charity?? If people want to give money they will. It’s not going to matter if him or Beyonce or Justin perform and ask for money. If they want to try and raise money – let them go on tour and donate a portion of THEIR profits to the cause. I’m so sick of celebs asking us regular folk for money. That’s what I like about Brangelina – they ask people to do what they can but they give a lot of their own time and money and are actually knowledgable about the subjects. Most of these idiot celebs couldn’t find Haiti on a map.
There are plenty of people here in the US who don’t receive proper medical care and are homeless. I’m sure the rebuilding in New Orleans isn’t finished and lives are still upset by Katrina – why didn’t we get a telathon for that!

  • shortpeopledate

    I love her smile

  • jolentini
  • Meela

I will not be watching or donating to that telephon because of the big phonies that are all running forward without putting up a dime!!!!!! I am a black woman and it makes me sick that all the rich BLACK celebrities are so greedy and self centered that to date besides lending their name to a cause, I have not heard of anyone going into their pockets. Dog Angelina and Brad if you must but they always come through when diaster stricks and all the big donors have been white. They can all buy 10 cars but cannot support an effort that aids their follow human beings. Money buys material things and you cannot take it with you to the grave when you die!!!!

  • Robin

Talent at last! I thought this would be 3 hours of Rihanna yodeling and butchering Bob Marley’s song.

  • lakers fan in boston

    i might actually watch
a lot of celebs are gonna be performing, some i actually like
    it’s probably gonna suck tho

  • shoes4life

It’s been announced that George C. has donated $1 million.

All the top celebs that have donated should be announced eventually, if they have donated an substantial amount ($250k+). I still think each celeb that will be a part of this telethon should announce their contribution prior to speaking/performing.

  • simpleman

Beyonce loves to use other people money for her charity. Only a fool doesn’t know what it means.

  • lexy

Why do they need to announce how much they donated? They can file it on their tax return and get the deduction. I don’t care how much money they donate. Are we supposed to bow if we see them and public?? Or should the Haitians drop to their knees and shout THANK GOD FOR BEYONCE AND GEORGE CLOONEY???

  • chipasssssssss

anything for promotion right. b*tch donate already.

  • T Shirts

These stars have absolutely no shame, don’t they?

  • Granite

    Is anyone here surprised?

  • Dr NYC

As if the earthquake wasn’t bad enough!

  • Liz

I haven’t heard anything about Beyonce and JZ making a donation to Haiti, has anyone?

Yeah, They sang at the the telethon but that is it. I mean this couple together made over $160 million last year so why haven’t they made a donation to this cause. Better yet why don’t Beyonce donate the $2 million Gaddaffi’s gave her for her perfomance. I am sorry they should be given big. $1 million dollar to them is chunk change. Get with the program Beyonce and JZ.

  • waffle bowl

So what Beyonce & Jay haven’t announced to the world how much they gave? If they did that, then you haters would call them publicity wh*res and whatnot. Furthermore, before you demand that others give a certain amount, why don’t YOU people post how much you donated to charity if you’re all gonna act all high & mighty.
