Annie Leibovitz Models for Louis Vuitton

Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz and ballet superstar Mikhail Baryshnikov pose together in the latest ad campaign for Louis Vuitton.

“She’s a real, pure, 100 percent artist,” Vuitton communication director Antoine Arnault tells WWD. “We’ve always been very committed to her, to her talent… She just gets in [her subjects'] souls. This campaign has really become almost a saga.”

The pic was captured in Annie’s New York studio. The tag line reads: “The journey of a star, captured in a flash.”

I adore Misha, but where is the Louis Vuitton merchandise in this picture?

# 7

Annie is overrated, I think.

I love Baryshnikov, but I find Annie overrated and racist, and I also don’t see the need for the campaign. Do they have to have a ‘celebrity’ campaign.

She owes Tiger Woods big time!

@Granite: She did luck out with that, eh?

Why did she left that big and white light in the up center? What artistic sense does it give?

She owes Miley Cyrus for what she did.
