OlderCarey Mulligan - SAG Awards 2010 Red Carpet
Carey Mulligan shows off a stylish red gown by Lanvin on the red carpet of the Screen Actors Guild Awards held at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium on Saturday (January 23).
The 24-year-old actress is up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for her work on An Education. The cast of Carey‘s film is also up for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture!
Carey finished her glam look with jewels by Fred Leighton - she’s wearing 19th century diamond snake pendant earrings, a diamond line bracelet and a pear-shaped diamond ring. Gorgeous!

FYI: Carey and Monique aren’t competing in the same category. So Carey not winning has nothing to do with this Monique person. Carey is not winning because she is competing in the same category as Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep. I love her dress though — much better than the GG dress which made her boobs look saggy.

Wow. This is such a difficult dress and she makes it look comfortable and easy. I’m so impresse – she really knows how to wear a gown. Also very good accessorizing. Hope she keeps the short hair for awhile, she’s such a cute pixie.

I’ve only just realised that this is the same actress who was in the Dr.Who episode ‘Blink’…loved that episode & thought she was great there. Nice to see she’s moved on up in the acting world a bit, lol!

She’s kind of cute – like a pixie. Not really pretty — but cute.
this is the first time i actually think she looks cute. whats with all the negativity. usually she looks like a dog, and you guys come out to defend her, now when she looks great you bash her. her haircut here looks very nice. her dress is one of the best of the night. i think she looks good. she looks like she deserves to be on the red carpet. and although i think she is awkward and her relationship with shia is weird, i can give her credit where credit is due.
