OlderSandra Bullock - SAG Awards 2010 Red Carpet
Sandra Bullock has a busy night at the Screen Actors Guild Awards held at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium on Saturday (January 23).
The 45-year-old actress, who wore an Alexander McQueen gown, Sergio Rossi shoes and Bochic jewelry, presented her Proposal co-star, Betty White, with a lifetime achievement award.
Sandra also took home an award of her own – she won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for The Blind Side!

I like Sandra Bullock too. But Sandra plays Sandra over and over again and theere is no way on this planet that she deserves to beat out Meryl Streep for her performance as Julia Childs. This has to be some kind of joke.
Sandra Bullock winning acting awards just goes to show that ANYONE can win acting awards if they hang around long enough and get the right part in the right movie. She has given many lousy performances, even in the past year!

Like Julia Roberts, she plays herself in most of the movies. Even this movie, her acting quality compared previous winners is not that great. But she has the momentum and wind blowing behind her. Competition is also weak this year, in my opinion. Hillary Swank was tipped before her movie came out; but once the movie flopped, she’s done.
My biggest beef is most of the winners for the past ten years are playing living characters/autobiographical roles and it annoys me to nuts. At least she doesn’t need to make herself ugly to win it. Also with actors. Copying Ray Charles, Queen Elizabeth, Julia Childs, Nelson Mendela etc…. the list can go on.
Only movies like Slum Dog and ******** have original ideas. I hope Quantin will win big at Oscars.
