OlderDakota Fanning & Kristen Stewart Premiere 'The Runaways'!
Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning are all smiles as they pose with rocker Joan Jett at the premiere of their film, The Runaways, at the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday (January 24) in Park City, Utah.
At the after-party, JustJared.com talked with both Dakota and Kristen.
When asked about her Sundance experience, Kristen shared, “It’s crazy. It’s always so busy and I never have any time to really absorb what’s going on. Of the four times I’ve been here, I’ve only seen one movie. Saved (in 2004). Yes, that Mandy Moore movie!”
Does Kristen have any projects coming up? “No, not yet. Clear horizon, but going to find work soon!”
Also spotted at the party: Kristen‘s Panic Room co-star Jared Leto mingling with guests and Kristen‘s Zathura co-star Josh Hutcherson and snowboarder Shaun White giving both Kristen and Dakota big hugs!
E!‘s Marc Malkin says The Runaways “really does rock.” We agree!
Also pictured here: Kristen and Dakota at the Joan Jett concert at Harry O’s on Saturday night and Kristen at the Gersh Agency brunch presented by Skintimate at the Greenhouse Actors Lodge. She ate an omelette!

Dakota is really pretty.
Dakota is sooooo beautiful and she dresses so well. Kristen could have done way better than that… how poor. No elegance at all.

@Calia: Calia – Dakota is wearing 4.5 inch shoes and is actually listed as 5’3.5 on imdb now. The casting call for her stand in for The Runaways was for 5’3.5″ too.

it’s sundance, you don’t glam up for this. why does it matter so much anyway? she’s been dressing like that since 2004, google it you’ll find it! honestly, kristen doesn’t need to be the hollywood mold, if the girl wants to be real, then let her. also, from what i can recall, she’s getting rave reviews for “welcome to the rileys”, people need to stop talking about her acting abilities, not all actresses choose the same roles. just because you’re basing her acting off of one movie (twilight) doesn’t mean she can’t act. watch her other movies.

Aww Dakota is always so mature beyond her years. She is always in skinny jean, high heels, and an awesome top with a scarf. Kristen well let’s not aim to high here..she should at least wash her hair.
@ummm?: It’s not like ppl are wearing gowns. It’s Sundance, not the Oscars. I hope you learn that there are different ways of expressing your femininity and beauty and grow up one day. I bet if she dressed up ‘nicely’ you would still find a way to criticize her.
It may not be the oscars but you can at least dress up a little when it’s a premiere like Dakota did.

Do you people not know what Sundance is? Nobody ever dresses up for premieres there. You’re on the mountains in the snow and cold. This isn’t the damn Oscars.
