Leighton Meester films scenes for Gossip Girl with her fellow cast members in Brooklyn, New York on Wednesday (January 27).
The 23-year-old actress and singer may be heading to Mystic Falls in a possible Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries crossover.
“I love that idea!” Bob Levy, executive producer for both shows, told E! “We’re gonna work on that. You have my word.”
Alternatively, Vampire Diaries‘ Nina Dobrev may head to New York City for the crossover. Nina and Leighton became good friends while filming the upcoming movie The Roommate.

Imagine Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) as a vampire! He’s already so creepy on Gossip Girl, they should totally go for it.
But, Vampire Diaries is a fantasy show and I don’t see how they could possibly mix that with GG.
Just let someone on GG discover the goth look for themselves, that should be as close as they ever get to something like that.
Since when does Blair wear glasses?
I’d rather see Vampire Diaries crossover with Supernatural. Crosssing over with GG just seems stupid to me.

A crossover with Supernatural as suggested by Jen would be interesting. Having the Winchester and Salvatore brothers onscreen together………. I’d definitely watch that!
They don’t mean crossovering the shows, just having Nina as a guest star in GG and Leighton as a guest star in VD, but in another roles, not Elena and Blair ;)
I’m not feeling to see Nina on GG anyway, GG has already too many guest stars, but if she has to, maybe to be with Dan? Or Idk, Nate’s friend from Columbia (?) XDDD
Now Leighton on VD, that’s something I want to see, Leighton/Ian both as vampires can kick some serious asses on the show! At least for one or two episodes :D

Horrible idea! I agree Supernatural /Vampire Diaries crossover is a much better idea. What Blair ends up in Mystic falls and get chased by a Vampire. Give me a break! please.. Are they purposely trying to ruin the VD show now that it’s starting to get good.
