Michael Jackson's Kids Accept Lifetime Achievement Grammy

Michael Jackson‘s eldest two children, Prince and Paris, accepted a lifetime achievement Grammy on behalf of their late father. Check out the video below and hear what the kids had to say:

Prince: “First of all, we’d like to thank God for watching over us over these past seven months, and our grandma and grandpa for their love and support. We would also like to thank the fans. Our father loved you so much because you were always there for him.

“Our father was always concerned about the planet and humanity. Through all his hard work and dedication, he has helped many charities and donated to all of them. Through all his songs, his message was simple: Love. We will continue to spread his message and help the world. Thank you. We love you, daddy.”

Paris: “Daddy was supposed to be here. Daddy was going to perform this year, but he couldn’t perform last year. Thank you. We love you, daddy.”

Oh…Wow. Didn’t even know they were going to be there. Such good, hearted kids. Sure loved daddy.

# 3

I love them so much! I love how they took on michael jacksons style. Michael raised them well!

# 4

Wow, the kids look great!
They look quite polished with their black outfits and freshly cut hair :)
Too bad someone felt the need to put makeup on Paris – she’s just a little girl and did not need it.

# 5

I think they should STOP putting this CHILDREN THROUGH this, JUST let them be normal kids UNLIKE THEIR FATHER. enough of putting them out there. I AM sure MICHAEL IS turning in his GRAVE.

# 6

Oh how precious are they! Love Paris’s outfit. Such a classy young girl! And my how they’ve grown since the Memorial.

# 7

God bless them..

# 8

Paris is incredibly beautiful, elegant, and mature for being only 11 years old!

# 9

The older they get, the more I know that those little white kids are NOT his.

@1 hotgirl: Think what you want to think, they are his KIDS! Go awayyyyyyy sheesh!!

@1 hotgirl,

The kids looks like their biological fathers.
Prince looks like Dr. Arnold Klein–his biological father.
Paris looks like Mark Lester, her biological dad, too.

Ok, let me break this down to y’all folks: these kids kick ass. They didn’t look or sounded irritated, or messy, just a little nervous, but overall normal, sweet, mature and sincere, which makes me say that nobody forced them to go on stage.

They knew how much of a performer their father was and they wanted to honour his memory by accepting this prestigious award on his behalf. I can’t express how proud I was to see them sending such a loving message to the audience. No famewhoring or exploitation, just love.

And please, Paris’ outift ROCKS.

Good looking kids and well spoken.

And btw, can people stop throwing names about who their biological fathers are? Paris is the spitting image of her mother, nobody can deny that. And as far as fatherwood goes, Michael was their father. The end.

Talk about exploiting kids ! ! !

whoever raised them is their father.

Prince Jackson sounds so rehearsed. He talked too fast without any natural pauses. You see he messed up and picked himself back up in an awkward spot that doesn’t sound at all natural. I know rehearsing is good but he sounded like he memorized someone else’s speech.

Paris’s parting words sounded like it came from the heart. Consise and to the point. Not stretching by any means.

I am going to fire away here so HOLD ON—–If You cannot handle it,DON’t read it.

These kids are his kids. They are legally his kids. No, they are not biologically his kids.
I really doubt they are Debbie Rowe’s biological kids too.
Imagine, ,your biological mom traded you in for a ranch and raising dogs and horses.

Next, these are real live little human beings being little freaks. I fell sorry for them even if they are worth 800 million -1 billion dollars.
The Jackson family should not parade them out. Put them in school . Let them learn the world. sothey can cope and know how to manage for themselves.
Of course, that could make them think and cut off the Jackson money grabbing family of 30 or more people when the kids become adults. It is best to cripple them. keep them ingnorant .Simple.

I did not watch these kids. When they came on, I switched the station.
I went at the rest of the show.

I love Michael and I love those kids! And yes, those are his kids regardless of their DNA. That’s the only parent they’ve ever known. I think they seemed very nervous. Not overly rehearsed to me at all. Paris seemed emotional, like she wanted to say more but couldn’t finish her speech. Either way, they are brave kids and did a wonderful job! MJ would be proud.

P.S. Jared, Blanket WAS there backstage as well. Could you post those pics? Blanket is so cute.

Btw, Prince sounds EXACTLY like MJ. Exactly. Wow, it was eerie to hear him speak ’cause he sounds just like Mike.

Tito’s sons look like freaks of nature. What the hell have they done to themselves?

I think they are adorablekids. Sosweet looking. Heart them. Don’t you wish they were pushed into a normal life. School. Friends. Real world people. Coping skills.

Why do you people care so much if they are his biological kids or not?? You stupid a$$ assumptions don’t matter because the man is dead (god rest his soul) and he loved those kids very much. When you refer to the kids being white, well DUH, their mother is white. I have plenty of friends who came out WHITE, with a black parent. Lameness and patheticness – let’s move on ALREADY……..

Sorry for double post.

Also, those kids look nothing like Debbie Rowe.

shoes4life @ 02/01/2010 at 12:39 am

I was very disappointed in the tribute the Grammy’s gave to their father. Michael, his children and his fans deserved so much more for all that he has done for music, entertainment and the industry period!

There will never be another artist, entertainer, visionary and humanitarian like Michael Jackson!
