OlderSam Worthington: Directors Guild Guy
Sam Worthington arrives at the 62nd Annual Directors Guild of America Awards held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Saturday (January 30) in Century City, Calif.
The 33-year-old Avatar actor wore a custom-tailored black pinstripe suit by Burberry and was joined by his stylist girlfriend Natalie Mark at the event.
Sam came out to support director, James Cameron who’s nominated for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for Avatar.
Earlier in the day, James shared the biggest challenge of directing.
“The worst is explaining the movie,” James said during a DGA panel. “The world will never understand. the best is getting the respect of my team and my respect for them. And if we can make a lot of money, that’s cool.”
