Carrie Underwood is gearing up for her wedding with pro hockey player Mike Fisher – and now she’s sharing details on what’s in store for the big day!
Here’s what the 26-year-old country singer and her sweetie shared with Life & Style…
Mike, on what he and Carrie have agreed on already: “It’s going to be a good size wedding with plenty of good food and an open bar, but nothing too overblown!”
Carrie, on her dream dress: “I want it to be pretty traditional. I think I want flowers on it — not real flowers. [The designer will] probably be someone I’ve worked with before.”
Carrie, on whether they’ve set a date: “Not officially; we’re kind of bouncing a few around.”

Neither of Carrie’s quotes were directly to Life & Style. She made those comments to other media outlets. The dress quote was backstage at the PCAs and the wedding quote was to Entertainment Tonight.

I hate it when people “sell” their wedding to magazines. A wedding is supposed to be personal and private, not as entertainment for the whole world! I know this artical isn’t from Carrie herself but there are other celebrities out there who do this and I find it disgusting!

CONGRATS! They make a very handsome couple. She looks so happy and deserves her knight in shining armor, unlike that last loser (the one who dated Jessica Simpson after she did).
Hopefully, Jessica Simpson can stop acting like she has an alcohol damaged brain, and learn to find someone great like Carrie and Britney Spears did.
Carrie should cease on allowing the media in on the details of her pending wedding. The media is nice to you when it comes to building you up but looks more forward to tearing you down. Someone in her camp should warn her, if she want her marriage to last.

@Penny: Stop being such a pessimistic @sshole and realize that some people get married and are really in love. Who are you to say that they aren’t in love or that their marriage is going to fail? I think that Carrie has thought this through very thoroughly because she doesn’t seem like the kind of stupid and impulsive person that would just do something this big and not take time to consider the challenges it might hold.
Carrie’s other relationships didn’t work out because sometimes relationships just aren’t right. How is Carrie dating and breaking up with guys any different from what normal women do every single day outside of the public eye? It isn’t.

Let’s face it; Carrie and Mike are absolutely adorable together. Regardless of what they do, the wedding will be great! I’m a HUGE fan of Carrie, always have been. Her music has touched me in ways that I never thought were possible. Carrie is my role model. I am unbelievably happy for her that she has finally found the one she will spend the rest of her life with. Congrats Carrie and Mike, the wedding will be a huge success and both of you will look stunning as always!

She loves the attention and is milking it for all its worth, will be interesting to see how much she sells it for. I have no doubt that whatever date they set it will be when one of her songs needs that little extra bump. She does it with Idol all the time, why not the wedding too.
First of all, Life&Style is one of the most unreliable sources. The only reason why Carrie is on the cover is cause there´s no gossip about Brad&Angelina fighting with Jen or something. I agree with Anna, weddings are personal & private but she didn’t give the quotes to L&S herself. However, Carrie does have a tour coming up this year so expect more stuff like this. Publicity is publicity and since there’s no scandalous cheating gossip going on right now, all they have is her wedding to write about. Second, “Shell” Anna’s just giving her opinion and she wasn’t talking about Carrie. It’s understandable considering all the other celebs who do sell their wedding. Maybe she will and maybe she won’t. Take it easy.
