OlderKeira Knightley Covers 'Elle' March 2010
Keira Knightley graces the cover of Elle magazine’s March 2010 issue, on newsstands Tuesday, February 16.
Here’s what the 23-year-old actress, who wore Donna Karan on the cover, had to share:
On her character in The Misanthrope: “Jennifer’s kind of a crazy mix of being a complete b—- – confident and terrifying – yet she’s incredibly young and is probably being exploited way more than she actually realizes.”
On criticism of her acting: “Oh, they still say that! Every time I do an interview with the English press, one of their questions is, ‘How do you feel knowing that everyone thinks you’re a s— actress?’”
On surrounding herself with people who will tell her the truth: “You have to be selective about the people whose advice and opinions you take. I know [my parents] would never tell me I was s— because they were trying to hurt me. It would always come from a very sincere place.”

Gorgeous girl! She is extremely talented and the critics really don’t say that about her anymore. In fact, she got really good reviews for her play with exception of a few British tabloids.

Shoddy job of photo shopping, for sure.
I happen to like her, and think she’ll grow into better roles. Besides, she made a ton of money from the Pirates movies, and could do theater for the rest of her days if she should choose.
That’s a bad shot of her. She looks old and gaunt…well…she always looks gaunt but this is kind of hard version of it.
I can’t stand her facial expressions. She was good in Pride and Prejudice, however.
Other than that, it’s awkward to watch her “try” to act.
She’s all bones, too., Yuck! Her features are sharp.
