Tom Cruise is reprising his role as Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible IV!

The 47-year-old actor will star in the latest installment of the series, which has a release date set for Memorial Day of 2011. Mission: Impossible will go up against the sequel to The Hangover and Pirates of the Caribbean 4‘s second weekend – tough competition!

    Here we go…………

  • pr person

Just another movie that nobody will go see because Crazy is involved.

  • wtf

does anyone REALLY want to see him in ANY movies?

  • shoes4life

If Tom’s people are smart and want the new MI to make money, then they better change the release date. Trust me POC and the HO will demolish MI. Tom is not that big of a draw like he use to be.

His folks still needs to work on his image to the public.

  • Jordan

Well, what else is there for him? He can’t cut it as a critically acclaimed actor so all that is left is romantic comedies and action movies.

  • cleanfun

awesome can’t wait for more tommy !!!

  • CanadaGirl

Good! Here’s a little vindication. Take that Sumner. :P

  • jj

Couldnt have you found a newer picture?

  • http://www.nursedatingsite.com/ nursedatingsite

    He is so young looking

  • Tootsie

he’s a little too old now…but, probably will use many body doubles for stunts, etc….

blah…..I won’t bother seeing the movie,

can’t stand him. He’s too pompous

  • ladyofargonne

Why have it come out the same weekend as Pirates 4. Why make people choose. Both movies lose valuable audience. There’s enough weekends to go around.

  • dani

He’s gotta show off that plastic surgery and what better way to do it than to act way younger than he is in an MI movie.

  • ivanka

@pr person: the first three M:I films have brought in $1.4 billion worldwide.”

im gonna see the 3 movies in a day:)

  • Jen

I’ll go see it. I really liked the last two, M:I movies.

  • Pac Man

There are so many things wrong with your comment that I don’t know where to begin cutting it down, #14.

  • LuckyL

And you should add just below the last sentence Jared, “When he was popular and people didn’t find him insane.”

  • jay

Will MAGGIE Q be back? Will watch if she’s back.

  • LuckyL

When you need to start recycling your past successes, you know that’s a bad sign. Think Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc.

  • LuckyL

He really did have a marvelous facelift, however. The best that money can buy–truly.

  • Seb

Can’t wait. Anything with JJ Abrams = Masterpiece

  • Ali

sure hope we’ll see him running… because we can never have too much of tom cruise running…

  • Sassy

Very “Risky” for him to make a new movie that they need to make big bank on, especially at this time when his “church” is about to implode deep into the Earth’s center. There is so much going on with this cult, I wouldn’t be surprised if he & Katie’s best man, David Miscavige (cult leader) is in jail by then, or has fled the country with his million$. Tom, leave the cult NOW and this former fan will welcome you back!

  • So Judgemental

‘Mission: Impossible IV: Desperate to Stay Relevant”

And they delayed the new Star Trek to 2012 to make room for this turkey! ARRGGHH!!!

And I really hope they do put it up against PoC4 and the Hangover 2 and get their asses handed to them vindicating Sumner.

  • Emily

I hate to say it but he looks very gay here.

  • dani

    @pac man

    Then don’t try.

We totally disagree on his plastic surgery, but anyone who knows anything about it can tell you he has had it.

And he continues to play parts that he is no longer suited for. Harrison Ford aged gracefully into films. Cruise is desperately trying to hold on to his core action audience. One would think he’d grow up.l

  • kizbit

Jeez, again. Does anybody go to his movies??

  • cbc

I wouldnt spend a dime to see anything that dried up fruit cake does.

  • sohuh

This will be the demise of poor tommy boy……..why must he always be pushing the envelope?!

  • slambang

Just what we need, another sequel.

  • http://google toni

Handsome man, but I never watch any of his movies. I don’t know
if his movies are any good alot of people says he is a great actor.

  • ll

Tom is a great actor I will go and see it

  • Pac Man

The third film came after 2005, #18.

He’s not recycling anything. The last film only came 4 years ago.

Star Trek 2 wasn’t delayed and JJ Abrams isn’t even directing this new movie, #25.

Don’t sound so sure of yourself, #27. There’s no proof that Cruise has had plastic surgery. Just the latest ramblings of critics who are trying to paint him as a guy afraid of losing his young fanbase.

How is Cruise that’s still youthful and isn’t even 50 and won’t be when this film comes out is no longer suitable for him? Ford is a bad example. He still does action flicks and hasn’t had a hit on over a decade.

Many considering they’re almost always hits, #28.
