OlderAngelina Jolie Visits Haiti, Cheered On By Kids
Angelina Jolie, Goodwill Ambassador of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, visits the SOS NGO Village for children on Tuesday (February 9) in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
An estimated three million Haitians have been left homeless or injured by the 7.0 earthquake on January 12.
Angie was also seen visiting the Doctors Without Borders hospital in the Delmas neighborhood of Port-au-Prince. (She and Brad Pitt have donated $1 million to DWB for Haiti quake relief efforts.)

Most of rich people did nothinhg to help Haiti people. Some participated in humanitarian gala evening. Rare gave amount of money. Angelina Jolie gave million dollars and went to Haiti. Such an amazing and caring woman.. Because she went.. we will hear more stories about Haiti and the plight of these people. I will note that it has not been in the news as much. The Entertainment show have move on to the usual businees of Celebs doing something or nothing.
The people there were so pleased to see her. And I love that her trip was organized and well planned. She didn’t just show up. The UN really details her visits.. and security is tight. Thus we don’t know when she is going somewhere until she is just arriving or leaving. I would imagine she will be heading home if not so already.

I love that Angelina Jolie is bringing more focus to the children of Haiti. Its really sad, these children were suffering without the basic means before the earthquake and now the grim situation is even worse. Thanks to Angelina Jolie- and for her services as a good will ambassador for the UNHCR. Love to the JP’s & all their fabulous fans!
