Molly Shannon Lands A Recurring Role on 'Glee'

SNL alum Molly Shannon is gearing up for a recurring role on FOX’s hit show Glee!

The actress will be playing Sue Sylvester’s nemesis in a series of upcoming episodes, according to EW‘s Michael Ausiello.

“Her character, Brenda Castle, is described as the busty 45-year-old new astronomy teacher and badminton coach at McKinley High School who is both an alcoholic and a pill-popper,” Michael says. Sue and Brenda will reportedly become enemies!

Molly‘s last role on network TV was as half of the NBC duo Kath & Kim. Can’t wait to see her on Glee!

As if the extraordinary “Glee” couldn’t get any better?! I think it just did.

Haha looks like the role was written with her in mind. I find her funny :)

If “Glee” becomes a vehicle to try to salvage waning careers, it’s going to be over quickly. Apparently, Shannon was funny once. I must not have been doing the right drugs.

I love them both, tallpeoplematch

Awesome. Loved Molly Shannon in ‘Pushing Daisies’.

Loved Molly Shannon on ‘Will and Grace.’ “You poor little sicky. Do you want me to make you some soup?”

Both of them were cute and they are awesome.

This really is a fantastic blog site posting.
