Adam Lambert's Secret NYC Show Revealed

Adam Lambert is performing in a private show in NYC on Monday (February 15) – and you can win tickets!

iheartradio is holding a contest to win tickets to this invite-only show – to enter, upload a photo of yourself glammed out (“think cool make-up, hair, or outfit,” the site says) to the site’s Facebook page.

Adam will be playing a show at the P.C. Richard & Son Theater the evening before he hits The Blonds fashion show!

FYI: Transportation is not included – good luck!

Damn, I wish I was in NYC. He’s playing a bunch of awesome concerts this weekend. I can’t wait to see his Unplugged sessions from Saturday. At least we get his AOL Sessions online tomorrow.

I thought the Blond’s Fashion Show was the 16th?????

  • yoko

    Is this Adam’s Anime look?

  • umm

Lol at all those “glammed out” people submitting their entries on that FB page.

No offence but I’m glad his acoustic VH1 session requires a photo because I don’t want to be in the same venue as a bunch of Adam wannabes dressed up in silly ‘fun’ whatever clothing. I don’t care if it’s shallow you know VH1 want decent hotties with something called style.

  • Alycia

Damn I wish I lived in NYC – hurry up and tour Adam!

  • JUD

@yoko: Funnily enough it is. When he went to Gridlock on NYE a firework was his inspiration – his words not mine, and when he went to the Movie Awards he mentioned “anime”.

  • kid

@umm:Shallow but at least you’re honest lmao.
I like the latest entry tho:

“Adam is just how everyone should be open. You have to be yourself in order to be true to yourself. Every since American Idol he has changed me . So in my pic its how I really am.
Myself, as Adam would say : Whataya You Want From Me”. I love his lyrics they are the key to becoming a better person.”

  • Courage, beyond talent.

“Confidence involves knowledge: knowledge of your subject, knowing you have the skills to succeed and knowing that all will go well.

Confidence both results from and instills a feeling of safety, allowing you to act without fear.

Courage, on the other hand, comes into play when you feel anything but safe. It is a leap into the unknown or, worse, a leap towards known risks, dangers and pitfalls, eliciting fear or at least apprehension, and yet you leap anyway when you could choose otherwise.

When the world and his wife (and even the gay uncle) are telling you you’re unacceptable as you are, it’s a formidable challenge to stand your ground and maintain your integrity, while taking full responsibility for your actions.”

i love how tight him and his band are, it’s like they’ve been together for f—-g years not a few months. tho i know he’s known monte pittman madonna’s guitarist for years now but not the other 3, tj, lisa and longineu. yet they’re all so tight. their jammin session playing heavy metal cracked me up, they were all so into it. they’re all really muti talented. i can’t wait for the acoustic stuff, i love all that.

  • FM R

Damn he’s doing a lot in one week.
Will the VH1 acoustic thing be airing on TV?

  • Don’t forget Haiti
  • true

@J1PKeaton: Monte is a KILLER guitarist. He’s seriously just awesome.

LP’s an epic drummer too. Only found out yesterday TJ plays drums as well as the bass? Lisa’s lovely and gorgeous and talented. They should bubbletweet as a band soon.

  • Sacha Fox

    @umm: So you’re calling yourself a hottie?

  • shortpeopledate

He is such an amazing person

  • l

@shortpeopledate: If only more people knew that. Just opened their eyes, mind etc.

  • umm

    @Sacha Fox Wellllll I know I aint fug ;)

No but I’m just saying the dress-up looks contrived on someone else not him. Wish people would showcase how he inspires them to be creative and daring and brave by showing their OWN beautiful colors and creativity, not by replicating. :)

  • Cindyg

    GAHH!! I wish I could go. D:
If only I lived in New York.

  • cacey

I understand GUYLINER but FULL OUT make-up is just too much, HE looks like a TRANNY; RUPAUL and boy GEORGE.

  • JLM

@elin: A gorgeous man with a great album. Daang I wish I lived in NYC!!

  • Jenn

Adam is just such an amazing person and his voice is truly remarkable. You people that don’t listen to his interviews just don’t get how good a guy Adam is and how bright and articulate he is. Adam Rocks!! I can’t be in NYC, but I am going to see him at Fantasy Springs in CA!!! Can’t wait for his two hours set – my husband and I are just counting the days!!!

  • natalie

I’m tired of seeing this guy’s makeup laden, tranny looking face, everywhere. Stop the madness!

  • Linda

It might help if you stopped deliberately clicking on articles about Adam – you’d see a whole lot less of him if you did. But apparently you’d rather subject yourself to articles about someone you don’t like, then complain that the articles are there…while giving the articles more hits, thus encouraging even *more* articles. Good thinking there.

  • lakers fan in boston

who would want 2 go her this wannabe sing, he’s horrible
maybe when he has a hit and gets out of the idol curse then i might listen 2 his music
but for now he sucks like all the AI ppl

@Courage, beyond talent.: That’s a wonderful quote from an article about Adam written by Etty Payne, Rockstar Weekly’s UK Correspondent entitled “Beyond Talent: The Courage of Adam Lambert” – when you quote someone you really should give credit.

The whole piece is worth reading – here:

  • Tagrid

@true: Lisa is not only gorgeous and talented, she graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London, and has a Masters in Jazz Piano from UCLA (or is it USC – I forget), and was the keyboardist for the Smashing Pumpkins.

  • Thelma

I attended the Idols Rock My town concert in NY with my 13 yr. old granddaughter. All three idols are very talented, but Adam Lambert
has such a magnetic personality that even if he offends a little, he still knows how to draw you in. The guy is electric! He’s that talented, and I hope he is planning to tour the East Coast this Spring. The MGM Grand at Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun would be good for starters. I for one wouldn’t miss an Adam Lambert concert.
    Rock on, Adam!
