OlderCamilla Makes Her Marchesa Mark
Camilla Belle hits the red carpet at the the premiere of her new film, Father Of Invention, during day five of the 60th Berlin International Film Festival at the Kino International on Monday (February 15) in Berlin, Germany.
The 23-year-old Brazilian beauty wore a Marchesa silk chiffon draped dress with embroidered bodice. She also carried around a satin organza rose draped medium clutch with hand beveled quartz crystal clasp.

She is definitely really pretty, but there seems to be a lack of -what word am I looking for- TALENT in Hollywood lately! These young actresses are becoming more and more like Mischa Barton and Lindsay Lohan (partiers and has-beens) than they are anything else.

I think that she has an imperfect look to her which makes her interesting. I get a kick out of these people that try and make her “white” because she clearly is a mixed race. You don’t want her to be Brazilian American, but you don’t have a problem calling black peole African-like you don’t want us to be apart of a country that was already inhabited by the Indians anyway. That’s just my little rant. Good day.

Belle’s mother is a Sephardic Jewish woman who immigrated from Brazil and her name is Cristina Routh. Belle was raised Catholic to please her American father, Belle is Camilla’s middle name and not all Brazilians are mixed race. The majority of Sephardic Jews look sort os swarthy complexion like her. Belle speaks fluent English and Portuguese.
@May: Yes all the brazilian are mix which means two or more races if you don’t know! Mix of europeans, native brazilians, africans, japanese… It seems like you don’t know nothing about Brazil or brazilians. You are the one who said the americans are ignorant! Which shows how uneducated you are!
LOL, too funny. Yes, ALL BRAZILIANS ARE MIXED! And no, her mother is SOOOO NOT jewish. Camilla’s mother is brazilian (from portuguese mom and american dad). Camilla’s dad is Jack Routh, an american country singer and businessman. And she DOES have a brother.
Such differing opinions so beauty certainly is in the eye of the beholder. She looks gorgeous to me and people who have met her said she is truely stunning in person. Cannot understand WHY she dated that young Disney guy far too good for him.
Her mother is Jewish an an immigrant to America where Belle was born and raised. Belle grew up Catholic but she is still Jewish traced through the maternal line. Clearly, 40% of the Brazilian people are European only and are not mixed with any other groups.
Not ALL brazilians ar mixed, you can’t make it general. My mother for exemple is brazilian born of italian imigrants in both parts of her family, just as my grandparents, their are NOT mixed, but I am because my father is portuguese and native brazilian descendant.
You should know that there are a lot of italian, german, japanese and native brazilian colonies and they don’t mix up with people of orher origins, therefore they are NOT mixed.
And, by the way, Camilla Belle is NOT brazilian, she is North American, after all she was born in Los Angeles, California, not Brazil.
