OlderAnna Kendrick & Carey Mulligan: On Their Way Up
Anna Kendrick joins Carey Mulligan at the 82nd annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Monday (February 15).
Carey, 24, is nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her work in An Education while Anna, 24, is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Up In The Air.
Moving up in the film world, both actresses have several movies in the works. Carey will be starring in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps while Anna will be appearing in the formerly titled comedy film I’m With Cancer starring Wanted‘s James McAvoy.
FYI: Carey is wearing a Prada black crepe peplum waist key-hole neckline dress and black silk knot heels.

WTF happened to Carey’s hair?!?!?!?! Anna’s gorgeous as always.
Who knew Shia LaBeouf had such good taste? Carey Muliigan is really quite a lovely girl and very classy. She carries herself well. Watch her interviews. I actually respect Shia for making such an excellent choice.
wow..you guys don’t have to be so cruel to carey. i completely agree with s3wa. if people bothered to watch/read her interviews, they would realize she is far and away the most intelligent and classy young actress in hollywood. she may not be the prettiest, but i think shia and carey make an adorable, grounded couple

As I’ve said before, I think Carey is kind of cute and pixie-like. She isn’t beautiful but she’s got a really sweet look and a nice smile. She’s certainly not ugly imo. I agree she’d probably be prettier with a little softer hairstyle.
I Really hate Mulligan’s pouty face
You’re criticized if you’re talented but “average” looking like Carey, and you’re criticized when you’re beautiful and “untalented” like Megan Fox. No one can ever win.
On a side note, I love both Carey and Anna.

she’s so adorable, sure she doesn’t know what to do in photographs
but she can act and give a great interview. She’s completely adorable and genuine. Her hair i liked it better when it was brownish reddish but i don’t really care, it’s probably for a role she’s doing

I saw Carey’s interview for this event on the Oscar website, and tt one point, she talked about her hair. She said her blonde dye job isn’t finished yet and is still a work in progress. Yes, she realizes the color is bad right now.
