Lauren Graham Covers 'More' Magazine March 2010

Lauren Graham looks beachy chic on the cover of More magazine’s March 2010 issue!

Here’s what the 42-year-old Parenthood actress had to share:

On her unconventional upbringing: “My dad had really boring cars. We didn’t have an answering machine. We didn’t even own a microwave until I was in college. It was two people reading most of the time. But they I’d go see my mother in London, where there’d be members of a band and these kooky dinners, and just a way more bohemian energy. It gave me a taste for adventure and an appreciation that not everybody lives the same way.”

On dating: “I’ve only connected with people I met by accident. My first boyfriend in high school was the guy who sat in front of me, because, you know, alphabetically we were soul mates. I looked at the back of his head long enough that I was like, ‘I think I’m in love with you.’”

On being single in her 40s: “What is so funny to me is I’m in a profession where two percent of people are working, yet there’s still this implication that you’re not completely successful if you’re single and in your forties. Well, why not? I wanted a horse when I was growing up too. Does that mean I’m not successful, because I don’t have a horse?”

She’s funny. I really liked her in Evan Almighty, and will be checking out Parenthood. It actually looks good. Watch them cancel it because its kind of different. Like DollHouse.

Seeing Lauren as first news on the page made me smile. Love her so much!! Can’t wait for Parenthood. =)

Ugh. This woman is such a witch. She looks and acts nice, but on the set of Gilmore Girls, she constantly called people that were of lesser status than her “Rodents”

Ha ha! Love the interview!!

love her. great interview!

I’ll always see Lorelai in her, can’t help it. :-)

Ah… Lorelai. Can’t help it either! I really like her, but I almost didn’t recognize her! Too much photoshop! She doesn’t need it!

I thought she was dating Matthew Perry, or did they break up :s They’re cute together :(

I love Lauren, but from what I’ve seen this show looks like crap. Bummer for her. :(

This magazine is really good too. I read one at the dentists office and got hooked. Be sure to buy an issue to support it. Lots of good stories and helpful advice, beauty and otherwise.

I thought it was Shania Twain, too much photoshop!

Love em both though!

why does she look like shania twain here?!

WANTED - ASAP @ 02/17/2010 at 9:50 pm

I am not sure how the fact that she has a job has any relevance to how sad it could be to be alone without a family.
It’s not about “being successful”. It’s about living your life, not about how others perceive you or how “successful” you are.
Not everything in life is about money and career.

HA! Gotta love Lauren Graham! Can’t wait for “Parenthood”; not only because I love me some Lauren, but because I love me some Monica Potter as well.

Yay Lorelai! I love her. That is not a nice cover, though.

Love Love Love Lauren!
