OlderElton John Covers 'Parade' This Weekend
Elton John covers this Sunday’s issue of Parade magazine and speaks about how his life’s changed since he hit the scene.
Here’s what the 62-year-old musician had to share:
On Christianity: “I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems. On the cross, he forgave the people who crucified him. Jesus wanted us to be loving and forgiving. I don’t know what makes people so cruel. Try being a gay woman in the Middle East — you’re as good as dead.”
On connecting with partner David Furnish: “I was attracted to David immediately. He was very well dressed, very shy. The next night we had dinner. After it, we consummated our relationship. We fell in love very quickly.”
On making mistakes in love: “I’d always choose someone younger. I wanted to smother them with love. I’d take them around the world, try to educate them. One after another they got a Cartier watch, a Versace outfit, maybe a sports car. They didn’t have jobs. They were reliant on me. I did this repeatedly. In six months they were bored and hated my guts because I’d taken their lives and self-worth away. I hadn’t intended to.”

I often wonder about that. Why wasn’t he married? it was because he was homosexual.
That is blasphemy. He will pay for it. I’m tired of these people in Hollywood trying to bend Jesus and Christianity for their own selfish and wicked desires so they justify themselves. The world s full of false teachers and liars. Jesus knew he had a destiny and his life would end tragically. If he was married with children he wouldn’t had a ministry. He made a sacrifice for humanity and humanity has slandered him over and over.

I agree with #5 People are just trying to bend the rules these days. I hate when people say, if God is real, why did he let 9/11 happen?! or Haiti? Well, we have asked for God to leave us alone so much, that he has! We constantly ask to just let us be! to be GAY, DRUG ADDICTS, BEND THE RULES ON MARRIAGE, SEX CHANGES! We have a right to choose. Elton John has, it doesn’t mean he’s right! God lets us make our own choices. Do I go to church because someone tells me to? NO. I choose to go. I don’t have to, but I want to. God gave us life for experience it, but there are rules. Is up to you to follow. God binds us now to free us later, where as Evil lets you live freely now to bind you later. That’s the difference.
First of all, it’s not Elton’s John business to comment on the Middle East and their laws. Islam, like Christianity and Judaism views homosexuality as a punishable sin and a crime against society. Those acts are not accepted under Islamic Law and never will be. It is immoral and plain wrong. Society does not dictate islamic law. ALLAH DOES! Jesus himself was a rabbi, and said “I HAVE COME TO FULFILL THE LAW” What law was he talking about, the law of moses. Every single Prophet of God, culture, and people rejects these acts as immoral. Just because western society chooses to tolerate these acts, doesn’t make it right. Soon people will be having sex with their pets….It not for Elton John to impose or force us Muslims to accept his perverted lifestyle as legitimate! Especially, not in name of Jesus. It is only western society who chooses to accept them. It is no secret that gay people are 500 times more likely to get aids!!!! WHY!! 1 out of 3 have already contracted aids….BECAUSE ITS WRONG!!! GOD HIMSELF CONDEMNED IT!!!! IT IS A CHOICE NOT SOMETHING YOUR BORN WITH!!!
