OlderMaggie Q Gears Up for CW's Nikita
Maggie Q sits front row at the Max Azria and Herve Leger Fall 2010 Fashion Shows during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week earlier this week in New York City.
The Hawaii-born actress is close to starring as the lead in the CW remake of Nikita.
THR says the 30-year-old star will play a beautiful and exotic “new Nikita being trained to replace the original one after she goes rogue.”
This character has historically been portrayed by Caucasians — Anne Parillaud in the 1990 film, followed by Bridget Fonda in 1993′s Point of No Return and Peta Wilson in the 1997 USA Network series.
Maggie Q has starred films such as Mission Impossible III and Live Free or Die Hard.

She is very beautiful.
This girl is so beautiful….. I saw her in a movie a long while ago…..she was a sort of ninja / fighter in it, she and other kids were put in a kind of camp and taught to fight each other…I don’t remember the name of the movie but it was all about fighting and blood and well, action. She seems really into that kind of stuff XD …. Anyway, it will be interesting to see her as Nikita who’s always been portrayed by lily blondes causasian ladies. It’s refreshing to see an exotic face getting this role. I need to go to Hawaii, it seems beautiful and beautifully populated HA.

Maggie Q is one of my favorite mix actress besides Kristin K. Maggie is beautiful and she is very talented with her action skills. She is great in all of her action films that I’ve watched. I think they pick Maggie to play Nikita is a good choice. She seems to fit will with this character. I can’t wait to watch her on the show. I’m so happy for both Kristin and Maggie on their new show. Yay!!!!!!
OMG, I love Maggie Q. She just finished filming two movies, Priest and Rogues Gallery that will be in theater sometime soon. And now, she gears up for CW’s Nikita. This is awesome. Maggie is the best when it come to action b/c she can kick anyone’s ass. OMG, I cannot wait to watch her.
Maggie is pretty and she will fit perfectly for the Nikita role because of her fighting skills that she has. She can be amazing when it come to acting. I cannot wait!!!!

Maggie Q is gorgeous and it will be nice to see Nikita portrayed by a non-caucausin person for a change. I liked the French film La Femme Nikita and Bridget Fonda’s American rendition of it too. Kristin Kreuk is stunning and has a new show too on CBS. Yeah!! :)
