Kelly Ripa shows off her new wrist tattoo on the Wednesday episode of Live with Regis and Kelly!
The 39-year-old morning talk show co-host revealed she got the name “Consuelos” inked in cursive writing on her left wrist, which is in reference to her husband Mark Consuelos.
Kelly got her special ink done at the Saved Tattoo shop in Brooklyn.

I don’t really like it but it would also be in reference to her kids and it’s also her last name. I didn’t watch the show so I don’t know if she said she got it for her husband or not. It makes more sense to me that she got it for her family not just her husband
It figures. She needs to resort to a tacky tatoo. She is pencil thin, not at all sexy and stupid as the day is long. IIf this is what she needs to do to keep her husband that is even more pathetic. Alos, what message does this send her kids. Nothing like another vane celebriy calling attention to themselves.

Well my 20 year old daughter went out and got one, even though I talked myself blue in the face against it. At least she got it on her hip. The tattoos do look better then they did in years past. Still, I don’t like them.
Kelly can do what she wants, she’s got job security and it is her real last name or her hubby’s and kids’ name.

Tacky, for sure. I’m so surprised this spin chick has enjoyed longevity in the business. She is as irritating to listen to as she is to look at. I just can’t understand how she remains and who could take her seriously. I’m sure it comes naturally to her, to be a bimbo, but she’s such an over the top bimbo one wonders is she works at it.

I totally disagree that tattoos can’t look nice & tasteful or look good on mothers. Are we supposed to get them removed when we turn 30 or have kids?! Besides, you don’t have to live with her & see it everyday so it shouldn’t bother you at all one way or the other.

Kelly has said many times that she is Mrs. Consuelos. Yes, she has obviously kept Ripa as her stage name, but elsewhere she prefers to be called by her real name…. Mrs. Kelly Consuelos.
As for the tattoo, I’m not a huge fan. She probably got it to remind people she meets that this is her name. I guess we’re lucky, she could have had it tattooed on her forehead.

NO, SHE DOESN’T HAVE SEVERAL TATOOS. She had one previous tattoo of a tiny butterfly on her ankle she she has had for over a decade. I would sy, if one has to have a tattoo, your family name is probably your best choice. Seeing that she doesn’t use the name professionally, and her sons, if not her daughter, will be Consuelos for the rest of their lives, it’s a very safe tattoo to get.
Personally, I think tattoos are horrific. And much as I love The Jolie, I wish she didn’t have tattoos.
