OlderEllen DeGeneres: VitaminWater Zero Ads!
Ellen DeGeneres is the newest spokesperson for vitaminwater zero, the naturally sweetened beverage with zero calories to launch in early March.
The 52-year-old American Idol judge will star in the upcoming ad campaign and check out the behind-the-scenes pics below. Love the twisty straw!!!
“I’m thrilled to be working with vitaminwater zero,” said Ellen via a statement to JustJared.com. “It tastes great, it’s good for you and it has zero calories per serving. It does everything for your body except massage it. But that’s why I have armando.”

I’ve tried it and it tastes artificial. I would prefer to have fewer calories, but the real Vitamin Water is much better.

I read the ratings for A I are down. People are looking at Ellen and her complaining about Simon. She knew how he was before she signed on, did she think she could change him? Simon does know musical talent, know the business. A I best get a worthy person for when Cowell leaves because Ellen is not the one.

I’m sorry but unless Ellen is pimping herself out and collecting all these paychecks for charity (like HSUS) I find her becoming grotesque. Why does she need to sell everything from Amex cards to Revlon to this dumb overly-promoted brand of water? Just because one is suddenly “hot” is no reason to become so greedy. Not when you’re already insanely rich. Now she’s fighting with Simon? Who the eff does Ellen think she is? I love that she helps animals, but I find myself more and more turned off by the Ellenization of our culture.

Ellen does look terrific at 52! I love her show and her Vitamin Water campaign looks hilarious. I quit watching American Idol a couple of years ago when I realized the best performers were being voted off.

dont like vitamin water in general, i rather drink water and gatorade is much better if working out, tastes much better
I like Ellen and am a fan.
But for her to say vitaminwater is good for you and does everything for your body, is just plain wrong and misleading.
I know celebrities do endorsements to make money, but I do wish they would be a bit more discerning about what they advertise.
The only vitaminwater that is good for you is the juice from raw (organic) vegetables, made at home and drunk immediately.
But of course corporations like Coca-Cola that bring out these so-called healthy drinks, can’t make money on that.

I don’t know why the word healthy above is linked to an ad – but I am certainly NOT promoting MBF. And if you drink homemade raw vegetable juices, you will be so healthy you won’t need health cover like MBF. I am NOT happy about my post being linked to an ad. Then again, I suppose everyone is making money from endorsements these days, even Just Jared!
