OlderKaty Perry Hearts The Smurfs
Katy Perry shows her big heart as she enters an office building in Los Angeles on Friday (March 5).
The 25-year-old singer may be voicing the character of Smurfette in the forthcoming Smurfs film starring Neil Patrick Harris!
Variety reports that Katy, George Lopez, Alan Cumming and Jonathan Winters (who voiced several characters in the original TV series) are all in various stages of negotiations to voice characters in the live-action and animated film.
FYI: Katy is sporting Melissa + J. Maskrey Ultragirl recyclable shoes!

This is wonderful news. Katy has such great comedic timing and a perfect vocal range for cartoon voice overs. She could be a huge asset in bringing the Smurfs to a whole new generation :D
If she has any sense she’s saving that Smurf money as her career is quickly going down the drain (proof is that she’s dying to be hired as an American Idol judge….can’t wait to see her competing on Dancing With The Stars or Celebrity Apprentice instead, LOL!)
