Jeff Bridges Wins Best Actor Oscar
Jeff Bridges suits up in Gucci while winning an Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his work in Crazy Heart at the 2010 Oscars held at the Kodak Theater on Sunday (March 7) in Hollywood.
The 60-year-old actor, who was supported by his wife Susan Geston at the event, won his first Oscar.
While accepting top honors, Jeff attributed his win to his parents.
“Thank you Mom and Dad for turning me on to such a groovy profession,” Jeff said. “They loved showbiz so much, I feel an extension of them. This is honoring them as much as it is me.”
Jeff has been nominated in the past for his work in The Contender, Starman, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, and The Last Picture Show.
