Ryan Gosling is said to be off the market, but it’s not true!
According to several false reports, the 29-year-old Canuck cutie is dating newcomer actress Casey LaBow. They supposedly went on a date on Friday night but that’s impossible — Ryan was at the 82nd Academy Awards at a Foreign Language Film Award reception held in the Grand Lobby of the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills!
At the ceremony (pictured here), Ryan presented Peruvian director Claudia Llosa with a certificate of nomination for Best Foreign Film for her movie The Milk of Sorrow (La Teta Asustada).
“Ryan even went out with friends in Silver Lake after the reception,” a source exclusively tells JustJared.com. “He doesn’t even know who she is, so how could they have gone out on a date?”
You’re in luck, ladies, Ryan is still single and ready to mingle!

I am puzzling over the Hollywood definition of “dating”. I have no idea who Ryan may or may not be dating. However, when a celebrity is reportedly “dating” someone does that mean they are exclusively dating that person? Can’t he/she be seeing several people and not in a committed, exclusive relationship? It takes time to find the right fit and starting out casual isn’t such a bad thing.
