OlderLeonardo DiCaprio Travels To Tokyo
Leonardo DiCaprio holds a press conference for his latest movie, Shutter Island in Tokyo, Japan, on Thursday (March 11).
The 35-year-old actor has only had good things to say about working with director Martin Scorcese. “I’m glad I got to do this character and this film with Marty,” he said. “It’s great to have a guide or a mentor when you’re making yourself vulnerable.
“You need somebody there who will drive you as an actor who you can trust in a situation like that,” Leo told the BBC. “We kept pushing Teddy to darker and darker places during the course of the film, and I think it was surprising for both of us at times.”

Its a great movie. especially the ending.
But its a drama, not a horror movie as promoted.
Its very touching and you can think about that a lot afterwords.
Main theme – the guilt. Who is insane – why people get insane, is it possible for them to be cured…

It’s a fantastic film though, my favourite of 2010 so far :) I really do recommend it!

@Jo…cancer sticks speed up everyone’s aging. They litterally suck the life and oxygen out of you and what they do to your insides is disgusting. Ironically if celebs who for the most are incredibly vain (from need and ego stroking) were shown exactly how thier organs are starting to look on the inside and have those pics exposes some of them might be driven by the same vanity to STOP smoking. Oh well, we’ll all go through same shock and OMG as they one by one get diagnosed with cancer and other related diseases from thier addictions and have it be spun by their PR people as a heroic tale. Sad.
My husband loves his acting and will going to see this soon as man’s night out. He commands respect and credit his acting not demand it.
In a recent interview Leo said he managed to quit smoking ( except for occasional cigars ). Hopefully he`s going to quit that too and it`s not too late for him.
Some of the photos are not very flattering but all in all he looks great.
@anon .. A litle harsh but I agree.. I recently read in interview he gave in which he saiD he was desperately trying to quit.. But wasn’t having much luck .. He said the patches were giving him nightmares….strange I know
Classic Peter Pan. He’s like a little boy in a man’s body. He doesn’t want to grow up and raise a family. He wants to keep having fun, fun, fun and there is nothing wrong with that. Its just who he is.
The picture is simply bad lighting because he is a good looking man. Lighting is everything in photography. I don’t think any of us would look good under those unflattering lights.
Is it just me or do men’s faces naturally get wider as they get older? Not all but some seem to make this transition.

Yeah his face does look alot wider when you compare how he looked in beach ten years ago. Can’t wait to see him in Inception.
@purepurple: I agree with that too, he seems keep gaining weight, and man he looks old.
