Gisele Bundchen looks forever young on the April 2010 cover of Vogue. Here’s what the 29-year-old Brazilian beauty shared:
On her son Benjamin Rein Brady with Tom Brady: “I wanted him to be called River because I wanted something always flowing, immortal. My husband said, ‘There’s no way we’re going to call him River.’ But my father’s name is Reinoldo, so it’s a homage to him. And it’s like water.”
On staying healthy during her pregnancy: “I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week. I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals. I was mindful about what I ate, and I gained only 30 pounds.”

ok giselle, anyone can do something about their body to improve it – but what about the face? that’s a harder one isn’t it? it’s always those with an unfortunate face that exercise like crazy (see:jen aniston) because they know that’s the only thing they have going for themselves.

I seem to be the only one to be utterly disgusted by awfully skinny women like this. Now, seriously, what’s the appeal?! I’m not saying you should be fat. Hell no. But there has to be a balance down in the middle. I mean, any woman out there who has big breasts and curvy hips and an actual ass looks better than Gisele. As for the “garbage disposals” thing, how nice of her. I don’t think she should be that judgemental. Most pregnant women I’ve known had a hard time shedding all the extra pounds off. It can also depend on your morphology and Gisele shouldn’t forget that. If she was smart enough, she’d know that it’s harder for some women to lose or not to gain a lot of weight. Oh well, at the very least I can give her props for her very healthy pregnancy. I have to admit, it’s the ideal pregnancy.

i agree w Gisele’s comment about woman becoming garbage disposals during pregnancy..ive had 4 kids and w each pregnancy i was very mindful about what i ate..i gained about 25-28lbs w each kids..yes, u should be eating for two but that doesn’t mean you should eat crap and get fatter than you should..it makes losing the weight that much harder if u just eat crappy and gain say 50-60lbs..

I saw her once riding her bike when she lived in NYC,…..she was breathtaking. no makeup,hair in ponytail,casual clothes, yet she was the most striking girl on the whole street. It was amazing! I was never a fan of hers, until after that day I saw her in the flesh. Now I am a forever fan of hers. She is just insanely beautiful. I think its even safe to say almost 90% more so then in her pictures. If you can imagine…..!

Id kill for her body. Shes so lucky to have had a healthy pregnancy where she could still exercise. I continued to exercise and ended up losing the baby. Also, I cant believe people try to say she stole Tom from the mother of his other child. They had already broken up when Gisele and Tom got together.

I think sometimes people get lost in translation. First of all, the feeling of family is very different to us (i’m brazilian )Americans have very differents family values. It’s cultural. In Brazil is pretty normal your step mom treats you like a son our a dother. The value of a child, maybe because wee have some much problems with street kids and slums,is just different. Our restaurants allways have lots of kids and babys in it. It’s normal…malls, street…baby cares at the beach, in restaurants…movies…everywhere….
And also is common hear people have crhistmas all together…which i now sounds wird…but it’s allways the child interests first. So Gisele maybe got lost in translation….if there is a way to translate a cultural feeling…

Gisele is a model. Her job is looking good. Most women have real life responsibilities on top of being pregnant. They also don’t have personal trainers, airbrushing, chefs, etc and millions of dollars.
