you can completely see how this dress is all wrong for her. It highlights her tummy, which, due to her age is no longer as flat as it once was, giving her a “belly”. That’s hardly flattering.

You can tell how short she is, because the dress was not properly tailored to her short height. Add to the colour and this is a dress don’t, no matter how you look at it.

Hands down this dress achieves the opposite of what she’s intending, which I imagine is to elongate her shape and hide her tummy flab that is probably the result of too many cocktails while tanning too much. It gets harder to really flatten that tummy as you get older, which is just a fact. Unless she wanted to look like a short, nearly pregnant rapidly aging and boring woman, which I doubt. She needs a just below the knee, tailored, brilliant blue, AGE APPROPRIATE dress to really show her off to her best, but we’ll never see her in that. Age appropriate is so not her thing.
She might as well have a cigarette dangling from the corner of her mouth and a bottle of lager in her hand, at least she’ll look cooler. LOL
“Shows her age?” She’s just 40, not old! And she has a lot of shadow from – I guess the cameras, it doesn’t look like she has many wrinkles. I am 43 with few wrinkles (naturally), so it isn’t exactly unusual.
I think she looks terrific, I am not a fan of her acting – but she’s pretty and I think has handled everything that happened in a classy manner.

Of course she is drained. She started work on a movie last week. Then had to fly to London. Then had to fly back to the US for the TBH press junket over the weekend.. That’s a lot of the body yet typical for an actor.

The weekend before last, Sandra Bullock did her credibility the power of good by turning up to accept an award and making a funny speech. Like Halle Berry before her, having won the Razzie for Worst Actress, Bullock showed the world that she got the joke. You’d like to think that Jennifer Aniston will show the same sense of fun if she gets the nod next year – it’s only March, but after ‘The Bounty Hunter’ she’s a contender.
She plays Nicole Hurley, a journalist who becomes a fugitive when she fails to turn up to answer a charge of assaulting a police horse with her car because she’s trying to break a big story. Enter Milo Boyd (Butler), a bounty hunter, former cop – and Nicole’s ex-husband. With $5,000 waiting for him when Nicole’s behind bars, Milo won’t hear a word about her police corruption scoop, but she’s not going to take ‘no’ for an answer.
Aniston looking great in a black skirt and heels and Butler looking beefy in a short-sleeved shirt aren’t good enough reasons to make a film. Did someone think that just putting them together would let the magic flow? Eh, you have to give them something to work with, too.
As light on gags as it is on charm, ‘The Bounty Hunter’ is a real stinker and if you ever met its two stars after seeing it the first question out of your mouth would not be “Can I take a photo?” or “Are you doing anything Saturday night?” but either “How in the name of all that’s holy did you read that script and think it was decent?” or “Are you going to give me my €10 back?”
‘The Bounty Hunter’ manages to feel rushed and longer than ‘Avatar’ simultaneously. Scenes fall flat because the punchlines are so weak and the constant bickering between the we-still-fancy-each-other Nicole and Milo gets old very quickly – ‘Midnight Run’ it isn’t. Sometimes you’ll look through your hands, sometimes you’ll give two fingers to the screen but mostly you’ll be working on a serious case of RSI from checking your watch.

The Bounty Hunter looks like its going to be a really awful movie. Jen is getting too old to be playing these cutesy romantic comedy roles. She looked really ragged and old compared to everyone else in He’s Just not that into You.

Horrible look on her. The dress on Letterman looked good on her, but her hair was a hot mess. Her interview was a big bore. Her lack of vocabulary really shows on these shows. They spent alot of time looking at her new house and when he showed the cover shot with Butler, he laughed and he said “This is just wrong”…..LOL
And, then, Dave read off alot of her movies, and not once did he say that she was good in any of them. He was just referencing her costars and mentioned how much money Marley and Me made (thanks to Owen and the dog).

It’s an equally unsurprising showing from either of the stars. If you’ve seen any of her rom-coms you’ll know what’s coming from Aniston. It’s a shame her work in independent film (such as 08’s ‘Management’) is not as prolific as her studio output, as here she’s a feistier version of Rachel, just as she was in ‘Love Happens’ and ‘Marley & Me.’ Similarly, those who didn’t see the trailer may think Butler’s character from ‘The Ugly Truth’ has wandered into another film. His crass-but-charming routine wears thin here as it did then, but at least he’s not in a bath of jelly this time.

THE BOUNTY HUNTER (12A): On General Release Wednesday 17th March
There’s usually a reason for air-tight pre-screening restrictions and syncronised trans-Atlantic release dates.
More often than not it means the film in question is bad. Bad enough to make the studio think they need to at least get a few dollars on the door before everyone realises what a pile of proverbial it is.
In this tradition, The Bounty Hunter does not disappoint, and manages to fall between the chairs of rom-com and actioner without much grace.
Gerard Butler seems to be typcasting himself into two roles of late. One normally sees him playing a bloody mentalist hell-bent on a life of carnage (Law Abiding Citizen) and leather underpants (300), and the other far uglier side of his screen persona is a line in shabby rom-coms with a car chase thrown in for good measure. With the exception of his Spartan sojourn, none of these efforts have achieved the desired result.
But Butler is nothing if not a tryer (and pretty volatile one at that) so here he labours forward, helped on his way to the ‘catch-all’ wasteland by a beautifully average Jennifer Aniston.
As you may have guessed, Butler plays Milo, the eponymous bounty hunter who has been hired to bring in his ex-wife Nicole (Aniston) after she skips bail. What a rub! Needless to say, despite the fact that he is a hardened man-hunter with a slew of dangerous crooks under his belt, Nicole proves to be Milo’s biggest challenge yet, and before you can say ‘What’s Boba Fett’s pager number?’ there’s a hint of chemistry bubbling between the pair again.
Well I’m sure that’s what it said in the script, but sadly such froth fails to materialise on screen. Some clever set-pieces though.

I have to admit that Jennifer still is a beautiful woman but there´s somehting that really bothers me in these pics. If she and Gerard really aren´t a couple they are acting really well. They could just surprise everyone. Is it so impossible for two people to start out as friends and over time grow to love each other. There seems to be at least mutual respect between Gerard and Jen. Gerry was just on GMA and he talked about the wedding scene in TBH and how his phone rang during it and it was his mom and he told her that he was busy, marrying Jennifer Aniston, and how Jennifer took the phone from him and talked to his mom. He said that his mom met her for the first time last night, so apparently his family flew in for the premiere here, rather than the one in London. Anyway, he said that Jennifer and his mom has become best friends and that they are planning for Jennifer to come to Scotland to visit and they are going to play golf together. Sounds like a love affair to me. I think we can expect the two of them to come out of the “friends” closet any time now and tell the world that they are together as a couple. I can hear the breaking hearts now. This will undoubtedly impact his fan base in a big way. He stands to lose more than he thinks over this, where his fans are concerned.

I’m not quite as harsh on the denial thing as Curious.
Could it be – if they really are in a relationship – that they choose not to reveal it until they are sure it is real and not just a temporary physical attraction? So many Hollywood romances and marriages just don’t last. Maybe they think it’s better to go the ‘friends’ route in public so they won’t be perceived as just another celebrity couple that isn’t going to last? Waiting to make some big public deal out of it, might be the best way to go.

After reading your post Carla; I find it hard to believe he’d talk so openly to “one of the staff there” and could just be kidding around??; I thought Gerry talking about JA and his mum on GMA was somewhat strange and it did cross my mind they are definitely more than just co-stars but not necessarily a couple – or great gushing PR on his part. The Scots are very friendly people and his mum was maybe just being nice and welcoming if Jen said she fancied visiting Scotland. It also crossed my mind if they are not a couple and JA wants them to be (that pic from the premeire where she looks up at him means she is either a very good actress or she has been butlerized) she knows the way to get to Gerry is make sure his mum loves her and approves of her. His alleged comments totally contradict his behaviour of the last few months especially his whorefest in RIo which came after the Birthday jaunt to Mexico.
I know just because you are photographed with lots of women does not mean you are sleeping with them but if something has been going on with them and it is serious Gerry sure has gone to great lengths to pull the wool over everyones eyes by continually denying the allegations and publicly showing he is very much a free agent. Everytime there was some report of them being a couple – rumours are by her camp – he was very clever to be photographed doing something to blow it out of the water.
I do have to agree with Different Opinion that if they are a couple the media will claim it is all for publicity for the movie – as they are already doing – and they maybe feel to be taken more seriously it would be best to not reveal anything until all TBH PR has died down. He is after all going to Serbia and South Africa to make movies for what could be a few good months so unless she joins him at any point on location I think it is safe to say it aint serious.

I think the JustJared.com team needs to think a little more carefully about allowing unmoderated comments on articles, just to get lots of traffic and buzz to the site.

A lot of these comments which are rated positively are not only hateful, but slanderous to Jennifer Aniston and I would hesitate a guess, that she is not the only one here who receives that type of viciousness.

There are currently a number of laws which protect people from any type of slander, even online, so this means that JustJared.com is culpable and completely responsible for the comments that are added to the site. But not only that, because the slanderous comments are all rated positively (so are mostly visible) and the positive, nice comments are rated negatively (so a lot are hidden), this means the slander is right there, out in the open for everyone to see and read.

I would be very careful about allowing this because recently Google executives in Italy were successfully sued for putting hateful content on youtube. This is a start, as people start knowing what their rights are.

I will tell you this, that other sites as well have some horrible, vicious, things that are posted and to be honest the posters from this site started it a long time ago (not to excuse the ugliness posted here). As we can surely see that it doesn’t take much to get people riled up and defensive about someone they see as either an idol or just someone to admire and then the aggressiveness starts. There are a great many things that can go awry with the large intestine and I urge you to make an appointment with your health care provider to to get it checked out, as it could be a serious matter that may cause you further discomfort and I wouldnt want that for you, now would I?
