Demi Moore: Matryoshka Mama
Demi Moore poses in Jason Wu with life-size Russian Matryoshka Nesting Dolls in this new cover photo shoot for the April 2010 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, on stands March 30th.
Here’s what the 47-year-old mom shared (in Chanel below):
On the first night she met husband Ashton Kutcher: “I knew it had the potential to be something special right away. It was like meeting somebody that I’ve just known where you just recognize one another. It was so disproportionate, the level of emotion we were experiencing to the time we had spent together. But when you don’t know someone, you can’t just jump and say, ‘I love you.’ ‘Nice to meet you, I love you!’ Yeah. No. We used to end our calls or emails with ‘And everything we don’t say.’ It just seemed too much, too soon.”
On trying new beauty products: “But I’m not an extremist. I mean, I’m not risky with haircuts. Someone did just bring me the latest fad from Russia, though. (laughs) Horse shampoo and conditioner.”

She looks amazing, let’s get that out of the way. But I wish she’d cop to having (a lot) of work done. Unless you’re meticulous about skin care and staying out of the sun at least by the time you hit your teens you can never look better in your forties than you did in your twenties. Yeah makeup and airbrushing helps, but Demi can’t claim that’s the only help she’s gotten. If you look at her face circa 1986 versus now it doesn’t take a scientist to explain how it all happened. Botox, nips and tucks, fat injections, etc. Just say so, Demi!
They need to stop trying to make her happen! stop dressing her like a 22 year old and stop retouching every damn picture so hard, seriously… women like her freak me out to death because they make me not want to get old! this obsession with youth in our society really isn’t healthy! Why can’t these women be good role models and embrace their ages and embrace getting older and not run to the nearest botox clinic whenever they find a new wrinkle.
That white furry dress thingy, that should be on someone in their twenties! and that pose looks like it’s suppose to be for a 20 something year old as well…c’mon, it’s getting ridiculous. She is one photoshop away from looking like demi lovato!
I don’t like the photo with her hand by her ear, it reminds me of ‘one pose’ Victoria Beckham. Demi is a classy girl. Has anyone else noticed how a growing number of Hollywood gals are wearing VB’s designs and emulating her look/style? VB’s still comes across as insecure as ever, though.
I really like her I’m mean isn’t she 47 and she looks like she’s 20 I MEAN!!! That woman doesn’t age (yeah, botox, fillers, whatever but still) and isn’t that what we ALL want? Noone likes wrinkly old people.
I didn’t know only 20 something had monopoly of poses and clothes I’m 19 but that’s really stupid to say she’s 40 she can’t do/wear that last time I checked this is 2010
With all the plastic surgery work she had done (botox, facelift) how could they say she looks fabulous for her age…anyone that is 47 that had extensive facial reconstruction done can look fabulous as well….
DON’T look as stunning as Demi
She looks great
In the main picture, she looks like Victoria Beckham
I think she’s a pretty cougar, but she’s nice, and
Demi and Ashton are so cute as a couple *-*
Someone did just bring me the latest fad from Russia, though. (laughs) Horse shampoo and conditioner.
Ahh Demi.. Mane N Tail has been sold at Wal-Mart for about 30 years. So the latest fad from Russia from the USA ala discount stores everywhere.. forever.
Wow, 47? My new hero……..yeah she’s had work done, but let’s face it not everyone who’s had work done looks this amazing! Cudos to her surgeon, ’cause he or she must be the BOMB!
Hey, if I had spend as much money on plastic surgery as she has, I’d look that good too. Plastic body for plastic people.
Ya, no kidding about the shampoo/conditioner. Been using it for 25 years. Originally bought it for my horse and decided to try it myself. Here’s another one ya Demi – you can use hoof conditioner on your hands/nails. Works wonders. Makes nails VERY strong.
I agree about her admitting to having some work done or she should insist that the interviewers don’t ask her about it before hand. Because no one buys any of her lame excuses — and she’s got plenty.

Nothing wrong with having work done if you have the money but it’s the constant lying that’s annoying.
Gorgeous woman. She looks better than most 20 and 30 something woman, hence, the jealousy.
She is really pretty
SHE IS THE CUTEST.
