Robert Pattinson: UK Premiere of Remember Me!

Robert Pattinson cozies up to his Aussie co-star Emilie De Ravin at the UK premiere of their new movie, Remember Me, held at London’s Odeon Leicester Square on Wednesday (March 17).

Rob is back to sporting his signature locks. Of course he had to swoop it back!

FYI: Emilie is wearing an Oscar de la Renta dress and Brian Atwood “Loca” studded pumps.

75% of those places weren’t showing it more than twice a day.
And the whole miami area was sold out. same with other cities.
but i find it funny youre doing box office math for someone you hate so much.
And the estimates for it were 7-10 mil. It hit right on the mark.

  • ahola

IF a movie hits within its estimated range, does that mean it bombed?

  • dina

    if u don’t like a RM/Rob , what are u doing here!

  • isabel

JEALOUS much haters?? It seems that some of the “guys” on here dont get it so they attack…what happened poor babies?? your gf loves Rob more than you???get over it. Rob is here to stay-this is hardly the pinnacle of his fame…ALL actors have good and bad movies. It is called a career…and Remember Me is NOT getting slammed by the critics for the acting but for the storyline…dark and sad with the hf ending SOME people cant wrap their llittle brains around the fact that not everything is about Twilight…it is you haters that make it that way! NOW shut up and get a life and stop your inane comments…you are pathetic.

  • nellie

    @Halli:

It has made sixty million dollars world wide in it’s five first days.
It was made for sixteen. I don’t even know what you’re getting at, but get your god damn facts straight before you say your opinion!

  • GreatHope

i still didn’t get all this fuss about JD,i keep asking that what is so special about him,as a matter of fact,i wil pick robert pattison even with his age over JD anyday

  • mandy

He is soooooooo next Johnny Depp. Yup i said it!

  • @55

hmmmm, that’s funny. Since it just opened in the UK, and Box Office Mojo doesn’t even have any data on the foreign box office yet, just domestic.
So far it has earned less than 9.5 million, domestically.
I would like another site to see accurate box office numbers. Could you tell us on which site you found this information?
    Thanks loads.

  • @51

Ohhh, then that makes all of the difference in the world.
60 people saw it per showing, then.
Miami must have awfully small theaters.

  • Remember Robert

Yes I was one of those people who went to see it on opening day with my best friend. Yes we are Twilight fans BUT the reason for seeing was to see if Rob could be another character other than Edward Cullen. I was totally surprised. Personally I think it was a smart move for him as an actor he was the complete opposite to Edward. I wont give details like others that have spoilt the ending. Lets just say he wasn’t all sweet & controlled like Edward. I was impressed! I’m Australian so I’m biased because I thought Emily was fantastic too!

  • XIX

Rob’s Fans are pathetic and ridiculous
    It’s bomb, bomb, bomb

  • Kristin M

Same s.h.i.t, different day. Always looks greasy, looks very inebriated, absolutely dreadful. Why anyone even thinks he’s as much as semi-cute should be declared borderline insane.

With his movie doing so horrendous at the box office and especially with reviews, I don’t know why he would even want to promote that crap.

  • @62

He’s probably required to promote it due to contractual obligations.
But his humiliation is probably the reason that he looks like he is under the influence at the premiere.

  • http://www.twitter.com jane

    @mike:

oh really i care about him and i’m not a twilight fan i only watch the twilght movies for him

  • Kristin M

    @@62:

Hello!! He always looks like he’s under the influence. He look like a homeless crackhead that’s been off the stuff for a couple of days. Some peopel think this sicky look is hot, I think it’s sickening.

  • JustRob

SAW THE MOVIE & IT WAS REALLY GOOD. REALLY DISAPPOINTED THAT THE TWILIGHT FANS LET ROB DOWN AS FAR AS US BOX OFFICE NUMBERS – GUESS THEY WERE ALL WATCHING ALICE IN WONDERLAND. ROB & EMILIE LOOK GREAT TOGETHER – MUCH BETTER THAN THE SOURPUSS WE USUALLY SEE HIM WITH – GETTING SICK OF THAT ONE AND HER “AREN’T YOU LUCKY I SHOWED UP” ATTITUDE. GO SEE REMEMBER ME – IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE TICKET PRICE.

  • nellie

    @@49:

What’s funny to me is that you actually spent time making those little figures up yourself thinking no one was smart enough to put together two and two and see that your figures are worthless, because you are not putting anything into perspective. And no, not six showings 2 !

Remember me was released in 2000 theatres in the US on Friday and had made 9 500 000 dollars on Sunday night.
This made the movie open at number three and is currently on #5, behind huge movies like “Alice in Wonderland” that had a 150 million dollar budgets. Remember me was made for 16 million, and had a very good opening, and is estimated to earn in 60 million world wide, because you’re so interested in figures you should probably see that that’s ten times the amount it was made for.

  • @67

    lol!
You can’t admit the truth can you.
    The movie BOMBED.
And “estimated to earn” doesn’t mean anything. It was “estimated to earn 15 million over the weekend, and it didn’t. And it’s “behind big movies”?? Oh, that’s right. She’s Out of My League is a HUGE movie filled with MEGA STARS!! Is that what you are saying?
Oh, and where did you get the two showings bit? That’s pretty pathetic for an opening weekend of a movie with a supposedly ‘hot star. You must not think that the theater owners had any faith in the film.
At local theaters it was showing five times a day.
But since you didn’t like those other numbers, let’s use YOURS….
9.5 million, divided by 2000 theaters = 4750 per theater.
4750 divided by three days = just over 1583 per day, per theater.
Average cost of a movie ticket = 12 dollars, but I’m willing to give the benefit of matinee prices, so let’s say 10 dollars..
1583 divided by 10 dollars = 158 people PER DAY!
And lets say that there WERE only two shows per day…
158 people, divided by two *rolleyes* shows = 79 people in the theater for each show.
    79 PEOPLE!
Try again to explain away his failure. Because that’s what this is. HIS failure. he couldn’t open a movie, and he is supposed to be the big thing right now. Pretty sad.

  • @67

Oh, and if we are using the number of showings at my local theater….
158 divided by 5 = 31.6. I’ll give ya the extra .4, so we can make it an even 32.
32 people, per showing, per theater, per day.
    Now what were you saying?
    Pathetic.

  • @nellie

    OMG.
Please put down twilight and open a math book.
Your whole post was pretty sad, and sufficiently torn apart by the posts above mine, but they missed this little gem”
“Remember me was made for 16 million, and had a very good opening, and is estimated to earn in 60 million world wide, because you’re so interested in figures you should probably see that that’s ten times the amount it was made for.”
    *******************
Uhmmm, “ten times” the production cost would be 160 million.
    16 x 10 does NOT equal 60.
    Soooo stupid.

  • anna

she looks gorgeous! I loved the movie and I love her dress!

  • anna

@faye: I agree! of course no one compares to depp, but he is hot though..

  • numbers

Since someone here is asking about numbers, here’s what Box Office Mojo has to say:
As of Sunday night, remember me had OFFICIALLY earned 8,089,139 dollars, domestically. It didn’t near 9.5 mil until Tuesday.
And the official theater count is 2,212.
So lets re-think these numbers out of respect for the facts:
    8089139 dollars, divided by 2212 = 3,657 per theater
3,657, divided by 3 = 1,219 per day over the opening weekend
1,219 divided by 10 dollars = 122 people in attendance per theater, per day.
122 divided by the ridiculous 2 showings = 61 people per showing
122 divided by the more realistic 5 showings = 24 people per showing
The more we dissect the numbers, the worse it gets. But at least these numbers are verified, and not just someone making it up as they go along.

When did slovenly become chic? Every new male star in Hollywood looks like they need a trip to the barber and a scrub with a janitor’s broom and soap.

  • mellany

Why are you all being such haters?
He is a good actor, I don’t care how much money this movie made. It was good, I liked it, and that’s what’s counts!

  • mellany

    @numbers:

Why do you bother doing this?

  • http://Google.com I

Nah we ain’t h8ing. He’s just taking up space on our desktops. So we’re clicked here 2 voice that

  • sasha

We are just setting the FACTS straight.
You fans were in serious need of a reality check.
Go ahead and love Rob, like the movie, etc. But you should at least keep things in perspective.
Rob is very new, and so far his career has been limited to Twilight, and the younger fans that flock to see him play Edward. He has a LOOOOONNNNGGGG way to go before he is accepted by adult audiences. Some heartthrobs are able to make that transition, but most don’t.
    Time will tell.
But calling him the next Johnny Depp, or worse, comparing him to James Dean is laughable right now. And then trying to twist the facts to pretend that Remember Me had a successful opening is just asking to get your hands slapped.
    Face it. It bombed.
There is no way to twist the numbers.
But that’s not the end of the world, either.
Maybe his next movie will do better.

  • surprised

Okay, I admit it…I went to RPatz’s movie. And it was very good. I didn’t see the ending coming. I recommend that everyone reserve judgment and go see it.

I agree about if it was a young girl in Hollywood, she would have a nose job, boob job, etc. by now. It is sorta nice to see someone not change their natural looks.

  • J.J

He is gay and his partner is with him all the time to bad yo don’t want to see it

  • Ily

ugly and boredom face! bad unexpressive actor! have you even seen Johnny depp, Brad Pitt, Keanu Reeves, Robert downey at his age???

  • mellany

    @Ily:

    What are you talking about?
Brad Pitt was absoloute shit in his early years, than he luckily took an acting class and now he’s good.
And have you even seen the movie?

  • mellany

    @J.J:

Ok, so I don’t believe that . I think Tom Sturridge is just his best friend, but even if it was true. What difference does it make?
Are you saying gay people can’t act?

  • awww

Remember Me dropped to number 10 in just it’s second week.
So I guess that just confirms that it isn’t just a bomb. It’s a BOMB!
    Poor Robert.

  • LEONARDO DICAPRIO FAN

Ok guys, there are pro and Contra’s to both sides:

    1. Contra:
After TITANIC Leonardo DiCaprio made a movie called The Beach – it earned less than Robert Pattinson’s movie. It has 18% ranking on RottenTomatoes. AND JUST WHERE IS LEONARDO DICAPRIO TODAY?

    2. Pro: Leonardo Dicaprio and Johny Depp, both showed they can act in really good movies BEFORE they had commercial success. Leonarod Dicaprio won Oscar nomination at the age of 19 for Christ sake.
    I CAN’T COMMENT ON ROBERT PATTINSON’S ACTING, BECAUSE I HAVEN’T SEEN ANY.

I personally think Robert is really sexy guy, and he seems really great as charakter as well. But is he a good actor – I don’t think so, sorry.

  • @85

I think that a lot of these posts are just trying to force some of his fans to face reality.
No matter how perfect that THEY think he is, he has a looooong way to go before he can be considereda legitimate actor.
Their comparisons to Johnny Depp, and/or James Dean are an insult to these proven actors. They are just asking for trouble.

  • LEONARDO DICAPRIO FAN

    @86:
I totally agree with you. I think even more, Robert Pattinson’s problem is, that his fans are actually Twilight fans. I mean, if we are realistic about it – if someone else played the part of Leonardo Dicaprio in Тitanic, girls would be crazy about him. If someone else played Edward Cullen in Twilight girls would be crazy about him.

  • MR

Seems there is definitely some jealousy or envy going on, mostly by guys. Otherwise, why get so fired up. Insulting RB so much by their comments is so petty. It will not change minds .
This movie is not the standard run of the mill movie that Hollywwod makes and the masses like. It has a deeper message, which is portrayed or played by actors/actresses in a believable way. They work away the anger and conflict . But then the big tragedy strikes (9/11). It does not cheapen or trivilize the event, but makes us think and feel for the nonsurvivors and suvivors. It does put a face on the tragic event for people who just watched it on TV or read about it.

Rob the best. His acting game simply unbelievable.

Nice to see some Emilie fans, yay Emilie.
