OlderKristen Bell: Backstage at the Geffen with Kristin Chenoweth!
Kristen Bell (in Alberta Ferretti and Brian Atwood shoes) and pal Kristin Chenoweth share a smile on the red carpet at the Geffen Playhouse’s Backstage at the Geffen Gala on Monday (March 22) in Los Angeles.
The 29-year-old actress came to support Kristin, who took home the Distinction in Theatre award.

Both are the epitome of the ‘faceless blonde’ (often talentless too). ‘You’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all’. The image the western world wants to present as the most appealing and desirable. No thanks!

@sids: Are you assuming they are talentless because they look like stereotypical blondes? Im not blonde and Im even offended by that. Kristen Bell isn’t talentless. I think she’s pretty average but she’s not talentless… and Kristin Chenoweth is fantastic on stage. Just because they look a certain way doesn’t mean they have no talent.
Nobody is asking anyone to look like them. If you know yourself and are happy with the way you are you wouldn’t be fazed by what the “western world” want you to look like. You just sound bitter. Leave them alone.

Wake up people…acting cant be that hard now can it? Tell me any other star proffesion, where at your first effort you can be at the top of your game ie win an oscar! You cant start football one week, and be in the World cup the next week. You cant lear to sing or play the guitar, and then next week sell a million albums. BUT with Acting, its fairly common for first timers to win awards….ask yourself people, can it really be that hard?

LOL. You do realize that when people star in their first movies, that’s not the first time they’ve EVER acted, right? Plenty of singers have sold millions on their debut single or album.. because they’ve worked hard to get to that point :\ just like actors work hard before they star in their first project. You don’t just stroll into a casting office and easily get a major movie role.

I repeat, the Kristins’ are faceless blondes, but not necessarily untalented. #3, #8: You should read with more care, I said “often talentless “not “always..”. I don’t make sweeping statements, there are always exceptions. #4: I am not threatened by blondes, just tired of seeing their all too often plain tight prematurely ageing faces. More exotic, interesting looking people with a measurable degree of talent would be refreshing.
