well if those women who u think made era of strongest?? which doesnt exist becoz if they were playn now serena would still hit them of the court… and obviously u missed that oz open final coz serena played with tactics and power! and i might ad what a combination to behold…

there is a law that specifically states “serena williams is not allowed to wear a bathing suite, and shouldnt even wear a tennis costume” unfortunately she keeps breaking this law- and its affects are very damaging to society.

Well obviously, the guy in pic # 9 thinks she looks pretty good because he’s staring at the boo-tay! ha ha. Serena is great. I love her spirit, and that’s what makes her sexy. She is a pretty girl. She could slim down and look more feminine if she wants…look at her sis Venus. But she doesn’t want to. She wants the muscle and the power so she can kick a$$!!! And I think she rocks it quite nicely!

ash: I disagree- you are trying to compare different eras when tennis players used wooden rackets and were trained much differently. The women’s game did not really incorporate power as a training method until a player like Monica Seles entered the game (who is one of the players Serena idolized). Many experts have already proven that if you put a modern racket in the hands of a John McEnroe or Bjorn Borg, you would see that they could match any modern player shot to shot. There is no doubt that Serena is one of the all-time great players, but when she takes over the wins grand slam wise, then we can give her the title of all-time greatest. Grand slam wise: Chris Evert has 18, Martina Navratilova has 18 singles, 31 doubles and 10 mixed doubles (the most remarkable feat by far), Steffi Graf has 22 and Margaret Court has 24. It is unfair to try to discount women from distant eras because their style of play was different. Training methods and the technology is very different today. Shots that were an integral part of training 30 years ago are rarely used today (like serve & volley, for example). I agree that she is in the talk of great tennis players, but I disagree that she is the greatest yet.
